Poco supports USB Audio Class 2.0 or higher? - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hi, all.
I tried to hi-res audio playback by Poco using an external DAC (iFi xDSD) and USB Audio Player Pro (UAPP), but couldn't on 192kHz or higher format. They ware forcibly downsampled (eg DSD to PCM88.2kHz, PCM192kHz to 96kHz).
So I tested other player apps, such as Neutron, HiBy, Poweramp, and also tried custom roms (Xiaomi.eu, PE), kernels(FK, Sphinx), but all combinations failed to hi-res audio playback without downsampling.
Since iFi xDSD fully supports native playback up to DSD256 and PCM384kHz, and Poco can playback up to PCM96kHz with bit-perfect mode with xDSD, I think Poco seems to recognize xDSD with USB Audio Class 1.0.
Is there anyone who made Poco recognize the external DAC with USB Audio Class 2.0 or higher and succeeded in native playback of hi-res audio file like PCM192kHz or higher?
Thanks.

[Q] multi-channel USB audio

I'm experimenting with writing an app that uses AudioTrack to play audio (for purposes of testing, sine waves generated within the app) from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II to my ESI U46XL USB audio interface. It works perfectly in stereo mode, but when I initialize AudioTrack with CHANNEL_OUT_5POINT1 and attempt to feed it a 6-channel stream, the sound that plays back doesn't sound anything like that stream.
I'm suspecting that the USB audio driver is the problem, since anything higher-level would also impose its limitations on the HDMI audio, wouldn't it? Google says that "Android 4.1 supports multichannel audio on devices that have hardware multichannel audio out through the HDMI port." But can anyone confirm my suspicion? I was also thinking maybe the 16-bit interleaved PCM format isn't used for > 2 channels, but I've tried every other format I can think of with no luck.
I'm hoping the problem is anywhere except for the USB audio driver, because then I can bypass whatever it is one way or another.

How to change audio bluetooth codecs in Android Nougat.

Hello guys,
I have a Note 5 and want to listen to music via my Bose QC 35 II. As these headphones only support SBC, which is quite basic and the slightly better AAC codec, no Aptx streaming is possible. It is sad that the good sounding aptx is not available, so i wanted to get the best out of it and try to listen with the aac codec. Unfortunately, it is only possible to manually change the bluetooth codec in Android Oreo. Is there a way be it an additional app or similar actions to manipulate the bluetooth audio codec even in Android Nougat?
Thanks in advance*

[Q] Recording lossless internal audio. It is possble?

Is it possible to record 24bit/196khz internal audio?
Is there any app that can do it?
Or is there any Windows program that can record audio from my phone's 3.5mm jack?
You can use the 7-day trial version of Adobe Audition to perform the recording.
You will need a cable to connect your 3.5mm stereo from your phone to your laptop's Line-in audio jack.

Audio passthrough (DTS, Dolby Digital)

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has managed to get Audio Passthrough working. So if you've got a movie file which has DTS or Dolby Digital sound, and you connect your phone with a HDMI dongle to your Audio receiver which can process DTS or Dolby Digital, to actually get surround sound out of it.
I've tried VLC and MX player, none worked. If I connect the exact same equipment to my laptop, it does work. So it must be either the video apps or the phone. I've tried multiple settings in the apps (of course I've enabled audio passthrough), didn't change anything.
Any help on this?
Thanks!

Alright but that's no surround sound. You're using a DAC which outputs stereo sound to a 3.5mm jack and a stereo headphones ...
I asking same question, do you find the solution now? I want to use smartphone to do audio passthrough to amplifier

Problem with UAPP and external DAC

Hey,
I can't use external DAC (Charmtek TP22, Apple dongle, Sabaj DA3) with USB Audio Player Pro. When I connect DAC and switch on OTG function, UAPP can see DAC, can play music, but there is no sound. How can i fix it?
Cheers!
