Android quota removed. (Easy back 7.x-9.x ROMs)
Make sure you have a custom recovery installed (TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Boot into recovery
Wipe dalvik, system, data, cust (vendor), cache partitions
Flash ROM (sideload or copy SD)
Flash Google Apps package (Optional)
Flash Magisk Root (Optional)
Reboot (If TWRP warn that there is no system, it doesn't matter, go reboot.)
First boot may take up to ~40 sec to 1 minutes.
Boot time ~30 sec.
There are many tiny, unpleasant bugs in it, NOT recommended for daily use, maybe just for fanatics.
DOWNLOAD STABLE ROMDon't need wipe data if upgrade previous 6.0 version.

This or this but i did a little testing, i don't like gapps, it drains the battery. (I used to make a gapps ROM backup (data) and sometimes restore it when needed.)

This bug in software or/and developer (in Pie9/Q10? any phones?). Unfortunately, they are not very interested. (LINK)
If someone in the gallery does not see the DCIM folder on sdcard, rename it (i use Total Commander) e.g.: DCIM0, then rename back to DCIM, and works fine after. (for me working) (it can be used in any folders on sdcard)

Which GAPPS to use...the ones in this thread, in the first post, or the ones for CM11 here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps It looks like there are more apps in the ones in the link than the mini apps zip in this thread. If we can get the rest from the Google Store, the mini apps is better. In the link, there's mention of ART compatible for one zip and states that ART should not be enabled for the other. I read up on ART. This is something that will be/is replacing Dalvik. Can anyone explain why one would be ART compatible and the other wouldn't? I'll probably be trying all of them out, if others don't know. Thanks.

I've been using this ROM for few days and It's very stable and smooth... I don't use bloetooth, so this ROM is already the best among all Mediapad's ROM

mediapad has poor quality battery, it starts losing capacity after half year
I'm close to three times that and I can see no battery wear.

First, thanks for this great ROM. Everything is working smooth. I have one big problem: My Wi-Fi MAC-address changes every time I switch it on. I tried wiping cache/dalvik and also tried setting a custom MAC in the settings but nothing helped. As I am filtering MACs in my Wi-Fi network it's a real big problem for me. @up this says nothing about real ram usage from the OS itself. The Values u've posted also contains cached system apps and the launcher that can be killed without problems if an foreground app needs more RAM. So in reality the real needed ram from the OS is much lower. Androids memory management works in a different way than Linux itself. The Design of Android uses "memory overcommitment" That means apps allocates almost an huge amount of (virtual)ram even it's not really needed and most likely they don't use much of that allocated ram. So let's take into account a few apps have already allocated the whole ram and u want to start an new app ... Now u guys thinks: "Androids low-memory-killer will kill some non-important apps or an oldest cached app or so" But nope, here come "memory overcommitment" in action and will allocate the new app simply over the already allocated ram from the other apps, that's of course was allocated but not currently used! Only if there is no way to overcommit memory, then Androids LMK will start to kill apps in order to free up some ram. As u can see, RAM in Android is used very efficiently and it doesn't need some annoying apps like task killer. Also it's a really bad idea to force the launcher to stay in ram, because u'll just have lesser ram for your running app!

This WILL take more CPU usage and battery If you want to hold your launcher into memory, then find a launcher that has low ram usage (such as 2.3.6 twlauncher ) And what about battery life here?
Yes that's true, but for me it only takes around 1 - 2 seconds to redraw the home screen using latest nova launcher Well, the thing is that phone has low ram .. so it's really painfully idea to keep launcher in ram. If u want it anyway, then u've to use zRam ... and this costs unfortunately even more battery.
Finally installed gapps with rom without no problem. Opengapps works fine. It looks like I have solved two serious problems. (dex2oat didn't work and neither did ashmem) The system boot is twice as fast, etc. I soon publish the new ROM. Upgrade Out. More stable, fast.

I integrated dt2w to vendor, but only for PE and subsequent ROMs. 2. workaround (full ROM installer): change the vendor.transfer.list and vendor.new.dat.br files from PixelE to HavocOS (or Arrows, or crDroid) in to the installer zip file. After no need patch for dt2w. Only copy two files to ROM installer zip file. If you want dt2w, you have to disable the double tap on ambient display because two identical functions cannot be interpreted at the same time. Dt2w will be good in every new ROM. I have already stated that Official ROM development is chaotic. The Havoc bug to this day: - no flashing LED for missed calls - Doesn't work with two buttons navigation back sweeping - there is a problem with the bluetooth call - applications are chaotic and inconsistent, with each developer trying their own solutions - etc - developers do not receive meaningful feedback The situation is similar for all AOSP-based ROMs, which may be due to the lack of an official Lineage 17. Google ****ed up sd card permissions. I don't know when a stable AOSP ROM will be available, just wait now...
