MAKE SURE YOU ARE INSTALLING LINEAGE OVER FULLY STOCK ANDROID 10 FIRMWARE
If you don't follow these instructions, please don't expect support here. We also don't support 3rd party addons (Magisk/XPosed/Dolby/Viper/etc.), so please don't seek support if you use these.
What's not working:
Applicable exceptions granted in device support requirements.
Obviously Samsung's own features such as Samsung Pay, KNOX, Theme Center, Game Launcher, etc. won't be ported to LineageOS. We may have our own implementation to similar functions, though.
Iris sensor does not work because AOSP upstream does not support that yet.
IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS.
Notes:
Official Lineage OS builds will not pass CTS/SafetyNet -- due to the AVB flag's "red" status.
Official Lineage OS builds requires official stock unmodded android 10 firmware installed.
Official Lineage OS builds uses stock android 10 vendor so encryption is enabled by default.

I managed to do it
I just want to say that I'm currently using this rom and it is absolutely fantastic. Zero problems so far.
Only thing that it is not workong is Iris Scanner.

It is lineage you will not find samsung apps here spen basics works only no samsing camera no on/off screen note...

No, Samsung proprietary hardware will not work on AOSP LOS roms, this is due to Samsung not using code that universally works, if you looking to use services like volte vofi or the iris scanner then this is not the place for you.

I don’t know but someone can try to install the Samsung apps once...most of the spen features are handled by the app and not the system

So i instaled it, for 1st "blue" tag stay for blue accent color, like in pixel phone so there isnt stock green accent for now. Leeco remote controler is inside also as 2 camera apps ( one is aosp what is pretty useles and second is new lineage camera app ) and GCmod google camera, no no-focus problems for me, or i didnt discover it, also we have here new trebuchet launcher with iconpack support. battery didnt tested.
formating the /system/ partition makes my x829 detected as x820

Just flashed it and greeted by blank screen with message "setup wizard keeps stopping" at start up :/
quite stable for my daily driver except slow charging and double tap to wake doesnt work

I think I found the culprit, do not flash magisk after flashing the rom, but let it do it's first boot, then after completing the setup, reboot back to recovery and flash magisk

These are my personal builds of AOSP for View 10 based on berkeley-dev trees. It's a plain Android with only a few minor changes added by me to make it more usable: better OTA packages support, some application fixes, under-the-hood improvements and kirin-specific patches. No additional system functional included.

AOSP itself is bare bones and unlike LineageOS it is not very usable without gapps. Stock gapps package is preferred for the best experience, but you can use small packages too.
Compared to EMUI system may look very gigantic with stock DPI value, 420 dpi is recommended (it is used by Google on their 1080p devices). Go to dev settings and set smallest width to 411dp instead of 360dp.

While I didn't test it on L09, it uses same compatibility hacks as Lineage, so it should work fine here as well.
I'll keep it up-to-date with the latest AOSP tag always, so system-side security updates are guaranteed. Though device will still report vendor security patch level.

While it's intended for use only on V10, it should work for everything else as well. Although it may be necessary to remove the assertion from update-script.

Sadly your aosp build doesn't boot on l09....would have been good if your build booted before pie roms became stable enough to daily drive

FBE Encryption won't work. Better backup your stuff before flashing or wait for CAF to release

Ok so I flashed the ROM everything seems okay (Decrypted and 5.1.4 firmware)
I only wished the option to force apps to use full screen aspect ratio was here (I don't even know if these commits are working on 9.0.0)
Good job for a first public build
EDIT : Also I noticed that the new gestures are not here but I guess it's because it's AOSP

As far as I know you have to activate gestures in settings.

Yes, Gesture doesn't work. in settings there's no option

Nope. Pixels have exclusive device specific features.
Which kernel is recommended ?
I have some stuttering with stock.
Volte fix for mido is working in other snapdragon device too.

Some 3rd part cameras don't work (eg.: Footej, Gcam, etc)
RadioFM doesn't work due to audio HAL used
Face unlock doesn't work if you have enabled fingerprint unlock
Back camera video only supports 16:9, others will give errors

A6 has the advantage of being Exynos 7870 which has a wide range of devs that are already familiar with the SoC. I wish it were easy for the A6+ lol

Can't do it on a device we don't have
And even if we had it, it would be very hard to do since the A6+ vendor partition is way too small

No, official Samsung AOD will never work on this device.
