The rom is more focused on optimization, fluidity and performance, it has a very deep debloat and some functions are lost that I did not see as very necessary. I clarify this so that later, no complaints, the rom is working very well and without errors.

You need to change kernel to one that uses 20.4
Flashed success and well debloated ROM. tried flashing other custom kernel and update magisk always ended with bricked phone.
Just finished rebuilding phone on Australian Sept update ROM and then installing Z-Rom V4 and Eureka V4.3 kernel with Magisk 20.4.
Everything is working as expected. Eureka v4.3 can run magisk 20.4 from the word go.... no need to install 20.3 first... just install kernel and magisk 20.4 in one hit. No bricks providing you do the FORMAT (not wipe) /data and dmverity straight after install of Z-ROM.

Which GAPPS to use...the ones in this thread, in the first post, or the ones for CM11 here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps It looks like there are more apps in the ones in the link than the mini apps zip in this thread. If we can get the rest from the Google Store, the mini apps is better. In the link, there's mention of ART compatible for one zip and states that ART should not be enabled for the other. I read up on ART. This is something that will be/is replacing Dalvik. Can anyone explain why one would be ART compatible and the other wouldn't? I'll probably be trying all of them out, if others don't know. Thanks.

I've been using this ROM for few days and It's very stable and smooth... I don't use bloetooth, so this ROM is already the best among all Mediapad's ROM

mediapad has poor quality battery, it starts losing capacity after half year
I'm close to three times that and I can see no battery wear.

First, thanks for this great ROM. Everything is working smooth. I have one big problem: My Wi-Fi MAC-address changes every time I switch it on. I tried wiping cache/dalvik and also tried setting a custom MAC in the settings but nothing helped. As I am filtering MACs in my Wi-Fi network it's a real big problem for me. Ok. I already have this problem on my note 3. Try to do a factory reset manually and install your rom after. Sometime,the script dont delete system and after, no enough space in system
What ROM base do you have now: NJ8 or NK5?
NK4. It's for 915FY
Have you tried to flash this ROM? I suspect that it didn't work for me because I was on NJx base not on NKx.

Install Diskinfo from playstore and check what partitions you have for cache, userdata and system. For 915F these are: cache - mmcblk0p25, userdata - mmcblk0p27 and system - mmcblk0p24. So, if you have same partitions ad N915F then yes, is compatible. Good luck.
I finally managed to make a working cwm .zip of NJ8. I will try to make one also for NK5. If someone wants it just say it. Maybe later, I'll add some mods to it if I'll find some free time. Happy New Year to everyone!

I don't have the N915FY but I think that should be ok because they have the same HW. If you want to try, please make a nandroid backup of your ROM first. Let me know if it works. Good luck.

First of all you need to be rooted. Are you rooted? Once you are rooted, install Chnglu's CWM from the link in OP. After CWM installation, you can reboot your phone in recovery (shutdown the phone, press vol-up + home + power button) and perform the nandroid backup. Good luck.
Dont work on 915FY. bootloop in note edge screen. I cant take a valide boot.img from 915FY for put into your rom.....
After flashing the ROM, before the reboot, restore your boot from the cwm backup. It could work. Good luck.

Note: take backup of everythng , remove accounts and security , i am not responsible of anything so try at your own risk , internet connectivity needed during magisk steps hello awesome people.thought will share how i installed viper4andoid on my k20 pro 1. restart to recovery (i have latest orange fox) 2. wipe first 5 things except internal memory 3. install vendor than os (arrow os 11 gapps stable i used) 4. go to manage partitions and data than format data than yes 5.reboot to system and after setup come back to recovery 6.install magisk 21.1 and reboot system 7.device will go into fastboot mode so go back to recovery and install magisk 21.0 than reboot system and this time device should boot up 8.go to magisk and install audio modification library than reboot 9.go to magisk and install viper4andoid than reboot 10.open viper4andoid and give su permisssion than install driver 11.wifi may break so use custom kernel like englezos kernel from recovery (before flashing kernel take backup of boot and dtbo) 12.come back to viper4andoid and go to settings and turn legacy mode on and restart device 13.bam viper should work hope will work for u guys too like and comment welcomed attched the files
