Flash the latest 2.3.4 in flashtool
download >>>this kernel<<<then place it in root of your hard drive EX. C:\
enter in fastboot mode and type this adb command fastboot flash boot C:\boot.img
Go into clockworkmod by pressing volume key down when you start the phone
wipe dalvik cache wipe cache and wipe data
then go "into custom zip" then "choose custom zip from sdcard" and flash the above file

I can't say it is better because you have to try it and and give report but my rom is NOT a stock ROM it is totally based on CM7 ROM by FXP team: they've build their own sources (lib files; camera; network; optimisation;...) so it is tottaly different to a stock ROM because it is not the same base!!!

i have tried there cm7.1 rom too but its very buggy and many things don't work,
fm radio, hdmi, camera, no flash, but when that's fixed it will be very good rom i think...

this is modded ROM with some files from stock (for example lib files for camera is stock atm) so camera work flash too hdmi(didn't try) and fm radio (didn't try) too
and I have NO bug and boot time is really really fast try it with doomkernel!

if you have bootloader unlocked yes you just have to follow my instructions
I follow installation guide from you but after installation only get black screen and bootloop. My NEO phone is rooted with unlocked bootloader previously running SE Tweak rom v.04. Which kernel to use to get it work DoomKernel or freeXperia

The installation of this kernel won't make you lose any data
> You can also use the kernel in the firmware .145 (and only in this firmware) using the boot.img. However, it is less stable than having the latest firmware. I suggest you first set up.
1] Preparing Files
- Unzip the previously downloaded fastboot-USBdrivers.zip
- You will now have a folder fastboot-USBdrivers.
- Now move the file boot.img (see prerequisites) to the root of your hard drive
2] Connect the equipment
- Connect your Xperia neo fastboot mode:
Turn-on
While holding down the Menu button, connect the camera to your computer. The LED turns blue
- Now install the driver (if you do not SDKs) by following this tutorial using the file-fastboot USBdrivers I propose above.
3] Flashing the kernel
- Open the fastboot-USBdrivers then hold the SHIFT key (shift) key, right click on the folder and select fastboot "open a command prompt here".
Users of Windows XP or Vista, for which the "open a command prompt here" may not s'affichier, please follow this tutorial to display the option or install the SDK normally then enter the command
- If prompted, enter this command and hit enter:

I have 2.3.4. firmware Neo tweaked v0.4, I flashed doomkernel v 0.9, and in recovery set to instal your rom but after successful installation and boot screen "Dommkernel" is bootloop. So Im not doing it in wright way or what.

Root + CWM + Custom ROM (actualiza a la última versión) + Liberación [Todo para NOVATOS, PASO a PASO
1 - to flash ROM WITH ODIN I9100XXKH3 and reboot
2 - to flash WITH ODIN CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KH3-v4.1-CWM4.tar ( not mark re-partition)
once completed it will leave us alone and reniciara a yellow triangle warning to restart, nothing important but uncomfortable
3- get into zImage rom sd
4- to flash WITH ODIN Kernel_I9100XXKI3.tar ( not mark re-partition)
5-After rebooting, enter the CWM application, give permission superuser and click on "Flash Kernel"
and to flash zImage reboot
!!!! and are custom recovery!!!!!
6-and only we have put the MiuiDano.ZCKJ1_v3 in sd
7-entering recovery mode and applied to flash MIUI:
wipe data
wipe cache
mounts and storage / format sytem
INSTALLATION FROM MIUI
MiuiDano.ZCKJ1_v3 copy to sd
enter recovery
to wipe data / factory reset
to wipe cache partition
in mounts and storage (to format / system)
and install the rom
reboot
note: no need to make the wipes but recommended

so it's a stock rom tweaked to work with miui framework & miui apps
but is it possible to add miui extended settings to work with this framework?
What about the xCell kernel, is that working with this rom?
tested it. and overal i really like where this is going.
issues
1. crt animation is flipped upside down.
2. menu in the email app got wrong images (refesh & compose)
3. bit slow to unlock
4. cannot seem to sync notes with google task (maybe old version of miui notes?)

INSTALLATION
Kernel after the installation remains in place.
Download the rom, drop it in the root of your SD
Transfer the zip file you downloaded above to your internal sdcard (not the external micro SD).
Turn off the phone, then boot into recovery mode. For this, press and hold Menu Button Until CWM screen shows up: Volume Button.
Phone will boot into CWM recovery. Use volume keys to scroll up and down between options and Volume Rocker key to select an option.
Perform a wipe:
Go to “advanced” and then select “wipe dalvik cache”, then select “Yes” on next screen. Now, go back to main screen of recovery.
Select “mounts and storage”, then select “format system”. Select “Yes” on next screen to confirm. Go back to main recovery menu after system format is complete.
Then, select “install zip from sdcard”, then select “choose zip from sdcard”. Then, browse to the file you transferred to the sdcard in step 2 and select it.
Confirm installation on the next screen by selecting the option ”Yes — Install OWA HD (Revision Loli).zip“. The ROM will now start installing.
After installation is complete, select “go back” then select “reboot system now” to reboot the phone.

Hi, Bro! Nice work, deleted all excess software, so speed of the work is good. Free RAM space after first run - 240mb. But I`m found some problems. For example, volume of multimedia is decreased by 50%. This firmware have Xperia SSpeed Kernel v3 with him problems (some peoples says what Wi-Fi Routing doesn`t work). I use this firmware a week, estimate is 5+

Added information on the installation.
This ROM use Xperia SSpeed Kernel v3. Flash with the CWM Recovery (only over .184 stock firmware with CWM Recovery kernel)

Hey! Great upload. I've just got this phone yesterday only and and a fun time playing around with it.
Flashed your ROM just only and I've noticed several notes I might like to point out.
-Is there any way to revert back to stock theme? (I don't fancy the statusbar icons you've set.. no offense!)
-Livewallpaperpicker.apk should come in useful. Especially since you have cosmicflow.apk installed.
Edit: Will try it for a day or two and report in any bugs!
Regarding the points I've suggested, its YOUR rom so of course, develop and style it as you wish
But for each unique user's peferences, could you upload an attachment of apk-s which you've removed from the stock ROM as well as the stock theme's files to revert back? Would be really useful.

Thank to rrvuhpg's awesome root and recovery that allow us to install custom roms on Xperia XA. Hence, i have made a MM ROM which is fully deodexed and ultra slim, hope you will enjoy.
Based on F3115_Customized AU_1302-4361_33.2.A.4.70_R4A, and for F3115 devices only.
You have to unlock your bootloader and flash this rom.

Further Step (Optional):
Because the rom occupies around 1.1 GB in system partition, you can shrink your system partition (to 1.5GB or 2GB, for example) and expand your userdata partition. I did it and i am sure you can heve a try. Here is the tutorial i followed.

os not installed after flashing boot.img and recovery.img
since i flash that two .img , the twrp recovery is working fine . i think the boot.img is the problem . i downloaded the exact file for f3115 . i have access now to twrp , can i flash this rom tru twrp to fix this problem ?
ps: when i flash boot.img i have unlimited bootloop
I cant unlock My bootloader. I think IT didnt get the perfekt driver. In device Manager is the yellow triangle.. Someone any ideas?

Use Linux... You need to put it into fastboot by holding up and power until it vibrates. The screen will then turn white, plug it into your computer (possibly do this first) and type "fastboot devices" to check if it's connected. Then, after you've been on Sony's website to find your unlock code, they'll give you further instructions. "fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock [unlock code]" The -i is their vendor code. What's the issue?

just install then rom followed by su then boot and wait like 30mins
on f3111 It will work ? Or maybe you could do the same for f3111 ?

I am using an AU device and I can confirm it 100% works. If you are a using an single sim device, i think it should be fine, otherwise pls try to reflash the kernel (only kernel, and you have to download a rom first) with the flashboot, and then flash a right cracked boot.img.
And for dual sim devices, try to reflash kernel with flashboot and then flash the cracked boot.img for dual sim devices.
Does this support F3215? Just taking chances. Thanks
Wonderful ROM! I installed it on my Sony Xperia XA F3111 without any problems. I have root,greenify,xposed and a good lite rom ofc having fun. The battery usage is very good! I use either Viper4Android for sound and it's amazing. New "system UI" updates will be perfect if you continue! Just a big thanks from Me!!
Edit: Flashlight doesn't work when I open it from system UI, From camera is working fine! Cheers!!

WARNING: You'll most probably loose ALL your data, and might break your phone. Please use with extreme caution!
Before you start it's important to make a backup of your data you don't wanna lose.
I only have experience with installing phh-treble with TWRP, so this manual will be for TWRP.
Downloads:
First you have to download the image of PHH Treble (arm64) (Check this post)
After download just unzip the file.
(To know which version you need you can use the app Treble Check, if both of these blocks are green you need the A/B image else you nee the only A image.
The Mi8 is an only A image, but if you wanna know for sure you can use the app. )
In the PHH Treble rom there are no Google Apps (Gapps), so if you want the play store and such other apps of google you have to download OpenGapps Unofficial
After download just keep the file as zip.
The overlay patch for fixing the notch you can find it in this post
It's important to be on the latest MIUI version, doesnt depend on Miui V9 or Miui V10, both will work.
Installing:
Step 1:
Be sure you got a backup of your data.
Step 2:
Reboot your phone in recovery.
Step 3:
Do a factory reset with TWRP. (Go to wipe and just swipe for a Factory Reset).
Step 4:
Transfer the system-arm64-aonly-vanilla-nosu.img, the OpenGapps.zip and the treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk to your internal storage.
Step 5:
Go to install, tap on Install Image and choose system-arm64-aonly-vanilla-nosu.img
Select the System Image partition to flash the image to and swipe to confirm flash.
Step 6:
If you want root just flash Magisk V16.7 now and reboot, without root only reboot needed.
Step 7:
When your phone is booted successfully just reboot into recovery.
Step 8:
If you want the Gapps, just flash them now.
Go to install, tap on install zip if it's not seeing any zip's yet.
Select the OpenGapps zip and flash it.
(It might happen the Setup Wizard keeps crashing! You can fix this by removing the SetupWizard.apk from /system/priv-app/SetupWizard. Use the file manager of TWRP)
Step 9:
To fix the notch of the Mi8 you have to copy the treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk to:
- /system/overlay
- /vendor/overlay
Step 10:
Reboot the phone and it is ready to be used!
If you installed Magisk you can install ViperFX 1.7 to fix the crappy sound.

GPS and Wifi are perfect!
only bugs are:
- Hotspot
- NFC

Can I go back to MIUI if I don't like it or are there problems with loading backups?

How? It is workin on smart lock section u can found face unlock. Not sure infrared working or not.

What kind of Gapps did you flash? I had the pico package, maybe it's because of the package type
Edit:
Flashed the Gapps Mini package and it does work now, but it's not using the IR, so in the dark it isn't working yet.
We still have to wait for the kernel release

It is possbile! Maybe I will also create a guide for going back from a treble rom to MIUI.
First time when I tried the PHH-Treble rom the Wifi and Camera didn't work so I went back to MIUI.
For now I'm really satisfied!
I've tried LOS and PHH 8.1 but my gps doesnt want to work on either.

finger print sensor is working fine and wifi. I've just had a problem with the playstore on LOS but that might just be the version of GApps they install as default
EDIT.
I've fixed GPS now as far as i can tell. After turning gps off and on a few times and a couple of other things its now working

It is crappy, WhatsApp is creating to much brightness, but the OpenCamera works well, pictures are ok, but far from the stock camera

I‘m rooted with Magisk, but I can‘t find CameraApi2 in the build.prop to enable it.
Is there a zip file I can flash or a special camera apk to install?

I found a working Google Camera APK, but don't know exactly which it is, so I made a backup of the APK
Here you can download it
You can also enable the CameraApi2 with a module of Magisk

Just flash e.g. an xiaomi.eu Rom. There is a full installer and its no problem to go back to miui.
Factory reset and flash in TWRP
