Question How to root oneplus 9R? - OnePlus 9R

Hey, i am from india bought oneplus 9R 12+256gb varient.
How can i root it(magisk) ?

Same as any other oneplus.

Download and Extract latest stock rom and get the boot.img, download and install magisk , from there choose extracted boot.img to patch in magisk, follow the instructions and done.
Note: SINCE, THIS IS NEW MODEL AND THERE IS LOT LESS OPTIONS , AND INSTRUCTION LEFT TO REVIVE FROM BRICK, I WOULD NOT HURRY TO TRY IT. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK AND I' M HELL NO RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK YOUR DEVICE

[GUIDE]P10/P10+ root with magisk & SN verified/installing firmware

Hello,
Here is a guide for anyone that wants to keep root with SafetyNet verified on Huawei P10 and P10+, also here you will find how to install/update P10 and P10+ firmware.
REQUIREMENTS
- Unlocked Bootloader(BEFORE&AFTER YOU INSTALL FIRMWARE)
- TWRP recovery for P10(AFTER INSTALLING FIRMWARE) : https://.xda-.com/p10/development/testers-twrp-t3585256
- Make a back up of system, products, vendor, boot, etc. in twrp(optional, but recommended)
Now,the steps :
1. Install your stock firmware(or update) : http://www.stechguide.com/?s=huawei+p10 (read the steps in there carefully and see if your build number matches the one on the site!)
STEP 1 IS NOT NEEDED IF YOU NEVER TRIED TO ROOT YOUR P10!
2. After you installed your desired firmware go ahead and unlock bootloader again(this will factory reset your device)and install TWRP recovery.
3. Download Magisk v12,Magisk Manager and uninstaller and flash Magisk v12 with TWRP and then install Magisk Manager.
Magisk v12: https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4095052&d=1490916845
Magisk manager for v12: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/topjoh...se/magisk-manager-4-3-3-android-apk-download/
UPDATED :
I found a way to install v13 on p10,p10 plus,not sure if p10 lite also :
Go in magisk manager(magisk v12) and check the "Keep force encryption" and "Keep dm-verity" boxes, and then press install/update (if this doesnt work),download a terminal emulator(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=en) and type this :
Code:
su
echo KEEPVERITY=true>>/data/.magisk
echo KEEPFORCEENCRYPT=true>>/data/.magisk
Thank you ! Finally I learned to debrand hoping viper4android will work with magisk.

Yeah, forgot to mention that you can debrand too with this. Np
Viper4android won't work because you need to enable core mode on Magisk(that means no mods will be loaded)
then how to make v4a to work?
wait for the stable v13 magisk

Can you explain why this does not work? (is only a P10 problem right?)
I gave up on TWRP/Magisk on my P10 Plus because of this
I never figured out why, but guessed it had to do with the encryption of the data partition
I was going to look at it again once TWRP could do a full backup (including /Data)
I'm currently on stock and it sucks... Did burn my fingers with FRP lock on a phone that couldn't boot to Android... And recovery2 (eRecovery) overwritten by flashing TWRP over it... Not feeling adventurous until TWRP is fully working ?

just flash this Official Rom : bit. ly /2Qjijzq
and flash it with : bit. ly /2wYLpfG
then you should be alright
ps : Flashboot must be locked
if you use qpst/qfil (which is whst you should be doing) to reflash stock rom it is not nessery to relock the bootloader.
ota also works even tho it tells you it does not, but when you get the notification of an update, you can press update and it will install, but the tool for manualy checking does not work.

look in this thread, there are all the links you need.
The thread is to install custom rom, but since you need stock qpst, find it in this thread.

I was able to pass the rom, before installing `` gapps.img`` install TWRP, soon after installing the gapps and soon after the supersu, everything via twrp. It worked for me.
*But the following problems appear in the system:
*WI-FI does not start
TWRP is encrypted after flah supersu
SENSORS giroscopico, bussula, metal detector, and others does not work.
Bluetooth tranferencias is also bugged.
Now I want to go back to the stock rom, but all roms are in boot loop `` LENOVO screen FLASHING OR STOPPED``
I can only keep the custom rom. And now someone to help? I need to at least recover the WI-FI.
Are you using qpst/qfil to reflash stock 3.9.075?

Root Wiko View3, grab boot.img

Hi there!
I want to root my Wiko View3. It‘s a mtk device with MT6762. Is there any way to grab the boot.img? I already unlocked the bootloader. It runs with Android 9. I can‘t find any TWRP Custom Recovery for this device. Or how can I get the scatter file?
Anyone found a solution to root the View 3 (Lite)?
Is there no way to root this device? Is it currently unrootable?
I think you can grab boot.img using fastboot and patch it manually.

I already know these threads. The instructions in the first thread only work for the Wiko View Version 1, not for the Wiko View 3. Also the mentioned TinnoEngineerMode in the second thread doesn't work for the Wiko View 3.

Try kingroot or kingo root, whatever its called. Your phone seems to be unpopular, that's why I think those applications will work. After that just install kingroot to SuperSU and grab the boot.img using root. Then unroot your phone, download magisk manager, install it, patch the boot.img then flash it via fastboot.
I've tried kingoroot, King Root, framaroot and towel Root, without success.
This device is just very new. It just came to the Market.

There is also some shorter ways to do the same, for example this app at LG 10 forums...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-k10/how-to/mediatek-easy-root-update-v1-0-3-t3944429
This less stable temp root should make that partition dump an easy task.

Realme 7 RMX2155 Stock ROM - Or Backup?

Hi all,
Does anyone have the stock firmware for this device?
Or a backup?
I wiped out all my partitions and so far nothing has worked out for me.
i can't seem to find stock rom for this device.
Check this out. https://realmefirmware.com/realme-7-firmware/
You may have to decrypt ofp file and combine some super(s).img *it's easier to flash with RUI 1.0 but I can't find any*. (Also) you might have signature mismatch (yellow sign boot) on your device after that. but that's okay. When booting, just press power button to proceed or simply unlock your bootloader and install magisk

Right . ofp extractor should be able to extract all of them. There are some cases that super.img (which contains system images) extracted into many parts.
