Hi,
here you can find my version for the n51xx on LineageOS 18.1.
Don't forget, this is a early beta build, so you will face bugs and don't expect a fully functioning ROM,
this ROM is not finished and may not be able to be used as a daily driver,
for this I would recommend my LOS 16.0 version or /e/.
At first I want to thank @forkbomb444, @rINanDO, @ChronoMonochrome and all the others who are working on the exynos 4 devices, also big thanks to @prkfsz for donating me a n5120 and also the shipping cost.
Also big thx to @cngbrick for donating a n5100.
For sure there are many other people who did there work, it's open source and this is the reason why android
is great in general.
It already took me a few hundred hours and it will become more and more to support you with great updates.
Here you can see how far everything is working:
Spoiler: Whats working

If you are going to use Gapps,
here you can download them:
Open Gapps
For the others, you can use microG in future.
If you want to pass the safety net check, root your device with magisk, Selinux is disabled.
Do you like my work?
Than you can simply hit the thanks button and consider to spend me a coffee or a beer,
I'm doing this in my free time and it also costs a lot of money to buy hardware.

Good evening, I'm waiting for the version for the n5100.
Thank you for doing the firmware.

I tried to run the firmware on the n5100 device from n5110, the following errors are boot animation, the problem with Wifi sees but does not connect, the problem with Selinux is disabled.

Thank you for this rom ,version alpha.
I installed the rom and gapps test version according to your instructions on my Samsung Note 8 Wifi GT-N5110
Not working: Wifi. Login credentials are accepted and saved for my wifi network; but from there it keeps searching and searching for IP number and so on for some time and than ends up with the error 'Authentication failed'.
After completing the install I tried tot connect Wifi again, but same result as mentioned above.

Hmm ok, try the version from today, wifi is working in my case very well, if it's than still not working,
check if the .mac.info file exists in /efs/wifi.

@html6405
Booth animation at the beginning is a little curve.
Screen brightness problems at 37%, very dim.
Microfreezes are visible in energy saving mode.
When recording the screen, everything lags terribly, I use the system screen recording utility.
Didn't find the key backlight setting item.
SELinux problem is disabled and writes a warning Trust.
And he also writes This assembly is signed with public keys.
Mac-address Wi-Fi devices 00:00:00:00:00.
Error when enabling developer mode, Wifi does not want to connect to the network.

Thanks for your efforts!

Tnank you for your reply.
OK, I will wait for that version, which is not on line by now; only 20210428 for N5100. Meanwhile I reinstalled 18.1-20210426 N5110 en checked /efs/wifi, but folder efs is empty.

Selinux will be the last thing, like on LOS 16.1. It doesn't make much sense as long it is in early alpha stage.
And yes, I'm signing my builds with public keys because it's unofficial.

This must not be true, it is also zero when the Mac is ok, this is a hal issue and at the moment just an optical thing.
At the moment I'm also facing some shutdown issues on my N5100, so I guess it will be the same in your case,
but yeah, it's just a test version...

I was glad to help with testing, we need to work with optimization, there are micro-freezes.
Notice the pixels visible in the top control bar.
In general, the firmware is not bad.

It will take time, that this firmware will be good enough to be used as a daily driver.
There are many icons missing in hdpi resolution, this will also take time until they are available,
this is why you see the pixels.

Update 28.04.2021:
Introduced triple buffering for a smoother experience
Implemented button to switch off stylus icon hovering
Many Kernel back ports made
Brought back BOARD_CANT_REALLOCATE_OMX_BUFFERS, this will fix for example YouTube kids crash
Security patch level 05.04.2021
Enabled fast charging
Much more small fixes / optimizations
I'm facing a new shutdown bug with this version, I will work on this the next day's / week's, please report me if it is the same behaviour in your case.

Ok this is good, this file contains your mac address, this file should be copied at the init process,
you could try to restart from zero, maybe then it's working.

Confirmation:
Wifi works after installing 2021-04-28. Great!
Some bugs already mentioned and commented by you:
boot animation
selinux/trust warnings (of course, public keys)
Display time-out: shutdown bug. I worked around this by setting time-out at 30 minutes.
Besides all this: Donated for your wonderful projects in general. Vielen Dank dafür!

That's very interesting. I always wanted to try a stock or rather google inspired rom in my Note but was never given the chance. Your download links are down though, overloading my anticipation
edit: You write "all variants download here". Do you mean that you support both P600, P601 and P605?

Cool stuff just got back with mine installed twrp through odin and used SuperSU zip to root. Just downloaded and about to flash. Wanted to get a preloaded recovery first with all my normal apps. Thanks for the Rom look forward to it!
Everything is up and running. I had issues getting SuperSu - ended up having to reflash that through TWRP. The only thing i have noticed so far is the inability to take screenshots. I might be missing something - but i believe the only way was to hold down the button and touch the screen. Once i finish setting up i will check if the phone is even responding to spen button
Came across an interesting error couldn't use hangouts dialer to video call. Grant it I didn't test it on stock it worked on the tab 4 I had its not a necessity I was just trying to break things lol
Screenshot is volume down + power
Screen record is volume up + power
I know about the hangouts problem. Also I know that headphones don't work. I will fix it next chance I get. My professors are laying the papers and assignments on hard this past week (its the same thing I had to do for the note 3)
Also if you read the OP 2nd post you would see that I specifically stated that Omni does NOT include root or su binary by default.
Some good info:
A great tool for this is the app Syslog from the play store. If you have a bug, simply open the app and select the type of logs to collect. Just keep in mind that the logs must be collected after the bug and before a reboot (unless you're getting logs for a random reboot, in which case you would collect a last_kmsg). This app makes collecting logs as easy as its ever been :good:

Ah, I see. For Omni, SuperSU was integrated into Settings if it's installed, there won't be an icon in the app drawer.
Tap Build Number a few times to enable Developer Options and you should see SuperSU above About Phone in settings :good:

Dont use ART. Its not supported by Google and therefore isn't support by Omni, and therefore not by me either. CM has hacked up some stuff to make ART work but Omni isn't doing that.
Best results will be with dalvik and stock kernel
I've been using it on campus for the past few days to take notes during class and write papers and haven't had any issues.
I just saw that you uploaded an update. Could you provide a changelog, since the changelog page shows an error (Error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)) ?
I know now why, because it doesn't boot atleast for me.

P600 is the QUALCOMM wifi-only variant, correct? If it is QUALCOMM then I can certainly look into it. Shouldn't be much more difficult than just removing the telephony and ril stuff
If it is Exynos there is no way.
The p600 is exynos but but I do know that many p605 roms work flawlessly on the p600... could u please try to support the p600
Thank so much for trying to help

CyanogenMod 13 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 LTEBy Hennymcc and CTXz
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Before you start
This ROM is only for the T235 and T235Y

Q&A
Q: Will this work on T2XX
A: This build is ONLY for the LTE variant of the 4 inch tab. I have not tried if this rom works on the T235Y (should probably work though). However the LTE version has an Exynos 3470 where else the Wifi version has a Marvell chip (I have some bad experience with that chip *cough* attempt to get CM working on it *cough*). PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO FLASH THIS ON ANY OTHER DEVICE THAN THE T235 OR T235Y.
Q: What about the T230!!!
A: As mentioned in my TWRP thread. Sub77 will send me a T230, and I can give it a shot again to build at least CM11 on it.
Q: How long till <insert issue here> gets fixed
A: ETA's (Short for Estimated Time of Arrival) aren't tolerated that well on XDA. Please remember that this is only a hobby!

Looking forward to run this on my SM-T235. Only if it isn't Monday tomorrow, i would test run this ROM.

I have been looking forward to this ROM for a while and I really appreciate your effort in this. Thank you very much!
Flashed it and deleted the setupwizard.apk as suggested but the CM setup wizard still crashes after pressing skip on "SIM card missing" tab. Any suggestions how to bypass this?
Any possibility for kernel with overclocking CPU and GPU functions for our tab?

I'm patiently waiting, Mate. Quality work takes time. Thanks hugely for supporting our device.
So excited!
I have 2 SM-T230's for my boys, If you need someone to test something please let me know. (I am hoping that this will have the Marshmallow feature to use the SDcard as internal memory)
Thanks Andi

I've dirty flashed the actual build over last lp build by hennymmc. Generally the last build works well but ril doesn't work with boh7 baseband. The camera preview hang up after taking a photo. If you take a new picture, the photo shows in gallery but the preview doesn't work.

Thanks very much indeed for this ROM. It's running good, however i just want to point out 2 really minor things (aside from the RIL stuff).
1. Sensitive notification drawer, as from my hlte CM12.1, "Contents hidden" for any apps in the notification drawer
2. Quick unlock option inside Lockscreen menu

Data doesn't work
Reboot. Data doesn't work on the first try
Can't send MMS messages
Reboot. Then, make sure your APN settings are correct.

Settings -> Apps -> tap the cog icons up to the right -> and the set the default Phone app.
A lot of apps force close on system start
Usually happens when switching to/from TouchWiz roms. Solution would be to backup your data to PC and format internal storage. Sometimes even multiple times.
SDCard access denied in app even though I click 'allow'
Known bug. Happens only on first attempt. Solution would be to close the app, remove from recents and start again.
Rom fails to flash or OTA doesn't work
Make sure you are using the latest TWRP version from this thread.

Thanks for the new toy to play with bro. Rom boots, takes forever but none the less it boots into the os (so give it a few) which runs like butter. Unfortunately data doesn't connect at all just stays saying connecting. Looking forward to future updates for this bad boy...
Nice to see you come back to this device :good: Too late to mess with it tonight, but I'll flash in the A.M.
I was just trying to build this myself today, but kept getting errors during the build. New to building CM/Lineage, but I'll keep plugging away. Glad to see it's possible to get it to work. I still have hope lol
thanks so much!

Is this marked as "unofficial" because it is self build from the LineageOS Sources or are there changes to the sourcecode? And if so what are they?
Will give this one a go once i'm home.
Wowwww thanks Dev.

Sync the sources and try again, as I've upstreamed a bunch of build fixes. Also, cherry-pick https://review.lineageos.org/#/c/156547/, as that fixes the SELinux build errors. Finally, you'll probably want to add androidboot.selinux=permissive to CONFIG_CMDLINE in arch/arm/configs/cyanogenmod_t0lte_defconfig, because otherwise it won't boot with SELinux enforcing.

This is unofficial because it is self built, although the code is directly from upstream. I've been commiting patches the past few days to get t0lte to build, which you can see at https://review.lineageos.org/#/q/project:LineageOS/android_device_samsung_t0lte. The only other change that I haven't uploaded to Gerrit is setting SELinux to permissive (because LineageOS developers don't allow SELinux to be set to permissive on official builds)

Little feedback:
I can make receive calls, but no sound
Data doesn't work for me either
GPS does work on even on "device only"
Video works on YouTube
MTP error with stock file manager, no problem with 3rd party ones
I don't have arch/arm/configs/cyanogenmod_t0lte_defconfig, In mine it's arch/arm/configs/lineageos_t0lte_defconfig, I don't have any cyanogen anything there... but I'll change it there. Actually, think that was the error I had an hour into the build. It had something to do with libselinux, then... ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed. Hope that fixes it and I can build :fingers-crossed:
Thanks for the tip :good:
I can call. But no sound sending and receiving call.
Data connection is not established.

It appears that i9305 has the same radio hardware as the N7105. Roberto Gibellini has been doing a lot of work, I'll see if I can port some of the stuff over.
This reminds of the early CM13 days, when we had to use a chroot to get the radio to work

Does this really work? Just so I'm correct, this is for the SM-j700p, I'm using that on boost mobile. I have that same j7 update so I will go ahead if this is real and try it out.

also how can I find out if I'm using your version of TWRP? I'm pretty sure I might be, but how can I know for sure?
& could you advise which GAPS to download?

any idea of the hugs involved? Could you create a rough list of bugs you have noticed. Also if you don't mind, do you know where I can get the stock room/other files so I can revert back to default. This is my main phone so I need to make sure I have what I need to make it operable again, just in case it becomes inoperable.
*Edit* also if you wouldnt mind showing me how to use logcat and whatever else I will need to properly test and help isolate things.

* Bluetooth
* WiFi
* Audio (music, etc)
* Camera (including video recording)
* Flash
* Sensors
* GPS
* Brightness controls
* NFC
* Bluetooth audio
What doesn't work
* Bluetooth audio(an easy workaround can be found below) Fixed
* KeyDisabler (read below) Removed
* VoLTE, this will never work on AOSP as it's not easy to implement Samsung's proprietary implementation.
Workarounds:
* Bluetooth Audio
To fix BT Audio on a Bluetooth headset, first connect to the device and after connecting press the gear icon near it. You should see a screen with 3 toggles(Phone calls, Media audio, Contact sharing), untoggle Phone calls and Contact sharing, leaving only Media audio on. After this you should be able to listen to media with bt headphones.
Play Store not showing some apps
You can avoid this bug by adding ro.opengles.version=196608 to your build.prop and rebooting. Make sure to clean Play Store app data.
KeyDisabler
The Navigation bar toggle in Settings>System>Buttons will cause touch screen not work after a reboot until the screen is timed out. This means that after rebooting your device you should let the screen turn off itself and then turn it off again to be able to unlock it.
Device Names
Verify your device codename before downloading any firmwares or recovery images!

Downloads
ROM Download: here
OpenGApps Download: here
Installation
Install the latest version(R10.1 or later) of OrangeFox(recommended, download here) or TWRP 3.3.1 or later
Make a full backup (just in case something goes wrong)
Make a full wipe(System, Data, Cache)
* If you are already running LineageOS 16.0(by Galaxy-MSM8916) you can make a dirty flash(flash the build and the Android 10 GApps) but a wipe is recommended
Download the latest build and transfer it to your phone
Flash the zip
If you are installing GApps do it before booting to the ROM. Make sure to flash the correct architecture and version(arm 10.0)
And finally boot, the first boot can take several minutes as it optimizes all the apps
There are still quite a few features that are not yet completed for LineageOS 17.1, these are not bugs, this is a beta release.
You should provide logs when reporting any hardware-related issue.
How to provide logcats
Under Windows:
Code:
[B]* Install samsung device drivers and then
the adb utils from here:[/B]
[url]https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979[/url]
[b]* Then enable developer mode, connect your phone to usb,
and from [B]cmd[/B] paste this command:[/b]
[I]adb logcat > %userprofile%/Desktop/logcat.txt[/I]
[b]then try to reproduce the bug.[/b]
[b]* The logcat file will be on your desktop.[/b]
Under Linux:
Code:
[b]* Install the adb utils from your distribution's
package manager and execute the command:[/b]
[I]adb logcat > ~/logcat.txt[/I]
[b]then try to reproduce the bug.[/b]
[b]* The logcat file will be on your home directory.[/b]
* Submit the logcat here on the forums, or on the Telegram group.
* If you cant connect the device through adb on windows because the drivers, connect the device over wifi, enable adb over network in developer options, and type:
Code:
adb connect [ip address here]
And then the adb logcat command for windows.

First reply on first Q ROM for Galaxy J5.
This is a great ROM, it's really stable and I recommend it!
Woooowww!!!
I waited for it so long
I'm so much happy that we have such talented and hard worker devs
Thanks dear @Zakaryan2004
Congratulations to you, jenslody & everyone who worked to achieve this .
A best wishes for Android 10 journey. Thanks to everyone who involved to achieve Android 10 for j5 . j5 is still alive.
Fantastic :good:
I download and test.
You are the best
thank you so much
Nice, will test this in my phone in next days.
Edit: Trying j5lte ROM beta 2020-01-22, in SM-J500M. Some issues:
At fresh install in second config screen (connect to wi-fi or mobile data) can't connect to wireless if ssid is hidden (SSID Broadcast disabled in router/A.P.), after enable SSID Broadcast in access point the phone connects fine.
Even after successful connect, if SSID Broadcast is disabled in access point phone goes to "Out of Range" and WiFi is disconnected.
Bluetooth can't transfer/share files from my PC to phone (or inverse). In PC only shows like an Audio Device, not "other devices" and can't send files to phone.
Selecting a file from file explorer in phone, and tap Share button have none option in menu, neither Bluetooth.
Same as Luis Garrido, in my phone the carrier config is detected automatic but can't navigate or reach internet only with mobile data.
Again Thank you for this marvelous ROM.
I am testing this Rom and everything perfect, thanks for not letting this device die.
About the errors, so far the aforementioned data and mobile data do not work on my SM-J500M (Yes, I have already configured the APNs)
Thank all the people who worked on this and forgive my bad English. haha
