What is this?
This is CyanogenMod 12.1 (based on Lysergic Acid CM12.1) with many features from the well known CM12.1S/Cyanogen OS 12.1 and CM11S made for the OnePlus One. All Apps are successfully ported from CM12S for the i9100 Galaxy S2, Quick Boot funktion is working very well and much more (read at features). The OnePlus One has a great Rom and why not giving the features to you all? That's the great reason why there is now CM12.1S for the S2.
The Rom has all features from Official CM12.1 and much more features are added, too.
I am the Maintainer and Developer of this Rom, but my work is based on Unofficial CyanogenMod 12.1 from Lysergic Acid
For more Inforamtion about the Rom visit the Official Google Plus Community!

Q&A:
Q: I cant flash this rom, my internal memory / Sytsem partition is too small.
A: Please increasy your system partition first, here is a good guide
Q: Can I dirty flash CM12.1S over Unofficial CM12, CM11 older versions or other Roms?
A: No! You will get many many Force Closes, Bugs, and much more. Don't do this!
Q: Why do I have to flash two parts of this rom to get one rom?
A: Since M2 my rom is based on official cm nightlies, and on official cm nightlies the folders inside /system are hide (not able to edit). Part 1 is mainly the rom and part 2 is the /system folder for this rom.
Q: How to get root access back or is this rom not rooted?
A: This rom is rooted, please enable Developer Options (Tap 7 times on build number in about phone), go to it and enable root access. You can enable there also the Quick Boot feature.
If you don't want to use CM's root access, please flash SuperSu in recovery.
Q: Rom installation/update failed, why?
A: TWRP Recovery is highly recommended for use! CWM is out of date and not made for Android 5.X! So try again with this Recovery by flashing the Kernel after the Rom. When it still does not work to UPDATE, try again with a Clean Flash!
---> Q: How to get TWRP on i9100 S2
---> A: Please download twrp-recovery-flashable.zip from download section and flash it on your device
Q: How do I get on-screen buttons with this rom/how can I activate them?
A: Open CM FileManager (pre installed on your device) and give it root access by opening options and choose mode from safe to root. Then go to /system and open build.prop, once it is opened got to the end and type in: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Q: My battery isn't that good and the phone laggs a bit.
A: See more at "How to improve Battery" in OP Thread.
Q: I want to test the RR based build, where is it?`
A: It was moved to the "Other" Folder in GDrive.

Rom is in progress. As it is based on CyanogenMod 12.1 it will have some issues.
I can't say which issues it has, I have to test and also I need testers. We will see more by tomorrow. Stay tuned.
But I can say it should be pretty stable and has no nasty or annoying bugs. But keep in mind: First release is BETA. Hope to get a stable version soon

Yeah no problem there. When there should be Problems use Google Camera. This rom contains CM OnePlus One Camera, and maybe has some bugs in first versions.

I have the cyangon 3.0.64-cm-g526d694, build to kernel. Will this work with cm12 OK or do you suggest an alternative? Thanks in advance

This Rom will come with Apollo Kernel and the Config App pre installed. I think this is the best for our great i9100.
Wait until tomorrow. Then you can test the rom with Apollo Kernel.
But I don't understand your question, what do you mean with will the cyangon 3.0.64-cm-g526d694 kernel work? This is the kernel of your current rom.
Every rom brings is own (maybe sometimes similar) Kernel.
When you are on unofficial CM12 you will have to do a clean flash with this rom.

Sorry auto correct. I meant its build02. I'm pretty sure it can with my ROM as currently I running cm11 snapshot but not the latest version as had issues with that one. My real question is, does the ROM come with the kernel and gapps included?

List of available third party ROMs for the ZTE Axon 7

Hola
Below is a list of third party ROMs that I have found both on XDA and elsewhere. I am in no way associated to any ROM development or developer suffice to say I do have my own preferences.
I have tried to list either the XDA page, or external sites from which the ROM is associated with. If I can't find an official XDA link or external site, I may just list the download link.
Hopefully the ROMs that are only available via a download page will not give rise to any issues from the developer.
All ROMs are based Android v7.x Nougat.
And of course - our greatest thanks to all associated developers, maintainers, cooks, and other folks who assisted us regular users - we're looking at you DrakenFX, musicman5844, among others!

IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. Please let me know if I missed any ROMs that I can add.
2. Let me know if I messed up with any info I have provided.
3. Again and again, we must all thank the developers and other folks who have helped us along the way. Thanks to all!
I flashed DARK ROM not knowing one single thing about it. We don't have a thread and I didn't see a Google+ footprint (yet).
ROM is totally bare as far as apps go. Nothing there but AudioFX, files, and Settings. Not even a launcher.
At first I thought it was broken but then realized it was probably by design. Leaving it up to the user to provide their own apps. Nothing needs to be uninstalled, disabled, or frozen (as some folks like to do).
Currently I have a mostly transparent setup (themes, TBO Clear apps, etc.).
Searching some more I found the Nexus5 thread for this ROM that details its features. It apparently has signature spoofing support making it ideal for microG / NanoMod.
The dev does provide his own gapps and extras in the OP. Full support for Viper even with Enforcing.
Found the the following thread after already being setup with it.

Hi. I builded LineageOMS ROM. This is my original thread. You can add first message if you want.

Premature ROM info. ?
Hi, I'd like to ask which ROM would you recommend
I used to have nexus phone and I loved it. What I'd like the most is stable experience with solid set of features. I don't need root. I don't need the high customisation but just stability and solidness. I want all the features to be working straight after flashing the ROM. I would like to have audio on quality like in the stock ROM. What would you recommend? I don't want to test all the ROMs.
Good support with ota updates is important too.
Has anyone found a MIUI rom for this great phone ?

Disclaimer
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
Some personal thoughts:
- you should read everything from top to bottom of this first page at least - i won't offer support for any issues that were already mentioned;
- press 'Thanks' button instead of saying it - it will keep the thread clean and keep me motivated to do more;
- feel free to send me some coffee (which btw, runs out pretty quick), via paypal, if you want to support my work;
- if you take any of my work without my permission i'll report you, and you'll probably get banned.
Initial notes:
ONLY G950F / G950FD / G955F / G955FD / N950F / N950FD VARIANTS ARE SUPPORTED.
1. Don't forget to check bugs before any kind of questions
2. Since most of the GSIs are AOSP, forget about VoLTE, Knox features, Samsung apps, spen features, Camera mods or features, Iris or other Samsung related features.
3. The GCam we use in OneUI also doesn't work, i know, don't spam with "fix pls".
4. On Note 8 only one camera works, i want and i would like to fix that too, but i can't promise anything.
5. You can use any non-treble rom even if you have treble vendor installed, as long as you flash a non-treble kernel. The rom will ignore your vendor and everything will be as non treble.
* To go back to treble just flash vendor/treble kernel and the desired GSI.
* For the cases when you flashed back official twrp or reverted to normal - follow again all the "how to" steps, from below.
6. Not many kernels support treble now, don't try to flash/boot with others unless they specifically mention the kernel supports treble or you will drastically fail.
If any kernel dev wants to support this project feel free to reach me to provide some critical (ramdisk) patches.
General features:
- based on G965FXXU5CSGD August release
- Note8 files from N950FXXS7DSH1 - August release
- S8(+) files from G95*FXXS5DSH5 - August release
- Aroma vendor zip with selection of some things
- latest hadesKernel included with most of the features of OneUI kernel + other patches
- misc things enabled in framework overlay for better experience
- will update when i will remember
What works:
- everything else that's not listed under the bugs
General bugs:
- no signal bars shown (signal is fine tho) starting with mid-august builds signal bars are working
- fingerprint gestures
- touchscreen dies after a while with AOD/Ambient display always on (fixable with spamming power button 2-3 times)
How to convert to treble layout:
! make sure you are on latest official TWRP for your device (links in #2 post)
1) Download a PIE GSI from here, use ARM64, A only
2) Put GSI in internal storage
3) Reboot to recovery
4) Flash treble-convert zip
5) Reboot recovery
6) Flash downloaded GSI as image-system image
7) Reboot recovery
8) Flash treble-pie-vendor zip
9) Optional flash Magisk > 19.3
How to revert treble layout:
1) Reboot to recovery
2) Flash treble-revert zip
3) Reboot recovery
4) Wipe CACHE in twrp wipe menu
5) Flash any non treble rom or restore your previous twrp backup

Others might work too, test and report and i will update the list.
I strongly recommend using PIE built from source gsis, oem ported images might not boot at all or be filled with other bugs, i won't care of those, remember you are on Samsung, Exynos, on a ported vendor, if you want real/better treble, move to any other device/soc.
As for Q, ErfanGSI Pixel Q beta 5, but it has tons of unfixable bugs right now, flash at your own risk or wait for Q source to drop in order to become patch'able.
Special thanks for testing and contributing on updating the list to @ZcoderDEV, @AndrzejDwo, Pócs Márk, Shayan, @snikerfreak @Soydere and many other users, this place is too small to mention everyone.
FAQ (for later)
This is just the best thing that happen to our S8!!!
You are a genius!!! Forgot to root but I'll go ahead and do that just now, Evolution X flashed!
Bluetooth working great with my headset, wifi perfect, data connection perfect, so far nothing major to report but its clearly state that bugs or whatever belong to the thread of the rom flashed by anyone.
Nice!!!!! ?
Few of my favorite quotes:
Code:
[I]"fake
you will never have any proper treble on s8 lmao
not oem treble = fake treble = ****ing useless
waste of time" [/I] - [B]A[/B]ndroid[B]C[/B]losed[B]S[/B]ource[B]P[/B]roject dev
Goodjob on finally releasing it. Looks like the best thing that has happened to S8 besides my kernel :victory:

A fast review of this project :
1- this project is 99.5% complete.
2- No major bugs, only general bugs that are mentioned in the post and they aren't really that important to be honest.
3-Make sure you follow the installation steps by the letter, and make sure you're downloading the right system image for our device.
4-If you get no sim card after rebooting, do a "soft reebot" , normal rebooting didn't fix the problem for me.
5-Battery life is perfect, i feel it is even better than OneUI.

Oh wow that sounds really good, that gives me ton of hope for newer ROMs when Samsung ends supporting the S8/S8+
Holy ****! I never knew I would live this day Anyways:
- phh's ResurrectionRemix works fine, except the brightness is completely dead on that build, I wasn't able to control it via the slider.
- phh's AOSP just stuck at the Samsung logo and rebooting, I tried installing it twice, without any success.
- Evolution X is the perfect one. The very small bug I found (well, for someone maybe a big one) but taking a photo/video in a 3rd party app (Messenger, Facebook, Instagram) is very choppy for me, every second it freezes for a small time. Maybe @corsicanu can say anything about this issue. Everything else (but the known bugs) are working FLAWLESSLY. I LOVE IT.

PixelExperience_avicii-12.1-20220331-1219

Assembled a new Pixel Experience on A-12.1
March security patch
Rebased over Android 12L source code
Updated translations
Added call recording support
Fixed biometric authentication on some apps – mainly banking apps
A lot of the devices with FOD(fingerprint on display) had issues with in-app biometrics where the FOD icon was misplaced. That issue has been fixed on the source side and rolled out in this update.
