Go to your wifi router settings, go to 5ghz and change channel auto to 44. Your phone will start showing 5ghz. I used this same method and worked for me.

Go to wifi settings, press menu button, then select advanced. Now you can set the phone to use a static ip (you must enter the ip, subnet mask and gateway, of course )

Settings
I don't know if this will work. In the advance Wi-Fi settings, try to change the regulatory domain channels of your phone to correspond with your modem/router. If your network uses 11 channels, also choose 11 on your phone.
There's a common android issue of troubles connecting to networks with hidden SSID's, my p500 connects but only after going to the wireless settings every time, but by broadcasting my SSID it connects automatically, perhaps a long shot but...

Have you looked at router's channel? Some routers transmit on channel 13, but P500 has problem to connect to network over channel 11

No notification,No viber while connected to WiFi

I swear i did search!
Thats why i had to create an account and ask!
I use my provider data package and i dont have any problem with the galaxy s3!
But when im home i connect to WIFI and while im connected to wifi i dont get notification from Gmail,Viber,Facebook and so on..but for example whatsapp works fine!
And i have to say it wasnt like this!i dont know if Firmware update caused this or an App!
If i want to know what is happening i should disconnect then all the notifications start to pop up!
Anybody knows what is the problem with Wireless internet connection?
Thanks in advance,

try changing your DNS to any universal one(search google for universal DSN servers) or use 4.2.2.2
I had the same problem on my iPhone and that fixed it.. never tried on S3 though.

WLAN Problem

I'm unable to use my wifi with any custom rom for the opx.
I find the router, but when i connect it just says saved.
On stock and any other device everything is working.
Could it be the router? ( FRITZ!Box 7270)
Check whether you have changed the wifi mac address on your phone?
And confirm Acces on router
Wysłane z mojego ONE E1003 przy użyciu Tapatalka
The mac is still the same and is confirmed in the router

But if I restart 2 or 3 time my opx will get connected to the Hotspot...

Switch off bluetooth, if it's on. There were interferences on some devices.
Your router is compatible with 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. OPX just 2.4, but it should be OK.
Have you tried a free wifi in a restaurant or something like that to see if it's a hardware problem?

It is working without any problem on stock.
Also working with free wlans.
I think this is Cyanogenmod and Fritzbox related.
Tried static ip too.
Try to activate "Location service" to see if it works

Still not working.
Also tried with another Fritzbox. Doesn't work, too.

Just older older one
{Mod edit: Link removed}
Can someone hack this firmware and stop it communicating with China's server? That's what they say in their agreement upon device setup. Also mobile network selection is locked to Auto only, this is annoying.

I am currently using that firmware, aside from unable to select network mode, did you happen to encounter loosing connection when wifi extender is turned off? My device seem to disconnect after few minutes if idle, but the problem is not occurring if the router is plugged to power or if the wifi extender function is turned on.

Disabling Sleep mode has no effect, or even setting it to 30 mins, before it reach that the router already unresponsive. Fiddling with my settings, turning on the wifi extender option is the only one keeping it active. And if i switch to using 5ghz band, a weird symbol appears. Something like a home symbol over the wifi signal.

Well, then you need to use recent official firmware, I don't have such problems there.
Where can I get one? I have tried all the firmwares listed in easy-firmware. And the sad thing with this, router prevents a firmware rollback. It fails to install unless its a higher version.
If you find a solution to this problem, I will be very grateful to you.I also can't figure out what the problem is, and no Internet helps me in this.
Today I turned this modem on and it updated itself, now wifi can work in 5Ghz. However, my carrier has blocked it's imei from using data.
Does anybody know how to change the imei on this modem? Maybe modified firmware?
Thread cleaned from links to androidhost.ru, which isn't accepted as filehost on XDA.
