Question Updater crashes when selecting update package - Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G

My mi 11 lite 5g EEA is still on 12.5.5 and is getting no updates. When I try to select an update package from xiaomifirmwareupdater.com the updater always crashes. Do you have the same problem with updates?

I have teceived EEA 12.5.8 by OTA and now have notification for 12.5.14 (did not take yet)
You can use the following app for downloading firmwares:
MIUI Downloader - Apps on Google Play
MIUI upgrade app for Mi users.
play.google.com
PS: I had notification for 12.5.14, did not install, and today I see that 12.5.14 was rolled back

update MIUI

Can I flash this file in TWRP (miui-beryllium_20180916-902_V10.0.4.0.OEACNFH_debug_xiaomi.eu_dipper-port.zip) over preinstalled ROM which I bought it with (MIUI Global 9.6.22.0 stable)? What do I have to wipe if I can flash it over? I tried update in settings but it downloaded update and then POCO rebooted straight to TWRP and it did finish the update.

Pocophone PixelExperience update error "package requires MIUI 9.4.26 developer"
Hello,
my Pocophone F1 is currently running Pixel Experience 20190421. I tried to update to Pixel Experience 20190521. At first I was manually updating TWRP to version 3.3.0. After that I downloaded the Pixel Experience update via the build-in update machnism of the Phone, I selected "install" an the phone booted into recovery, there I got the following error:
Why do I need to update MIUI when I install Pixel Experience?
I found the solution now, the firmware needed to be updated first: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/beryllium/
This video and the comments describe it very well:

About this new update..

My phone is still running on Android 9 with march security patch. I received an update prompt saying that it has May 2020 patch (1.33Gb size) . I would love to get the latest security patch but not the Android 10. With that file size, I think it contains android 10 as well, is that correct?
Yes and you won't receive any more security patch updates for Android 9.
All newer builds of the stock rom are android 10
Is it possible to disable automatic update from android 9 to 10? Not to download android 10. For example, for Huawei is possible via ADB. I have xiaomi mi a3 it worked fine for me 9 and as installed 10 is a massacre.

Yes by unlocking bootloader you won't receive any official update from Xiaomi/Google
Then flash latest V10.3.16.0.PFQMIXM (Android 9)

Unlocked bootloader will NOT prevent official OTA update from downloading and installing. OTA won't be installed if it fails verification of boot or system partition (Magisk or TWRP installed, system partition mounted as R/W, etc.).
But has anyone received this update in the Global version?

How to get automatic OTA update back ?

Hi guys,
I tried CN version of MIUI but i don't receive SMS on this rom version... so i flashed back MIUI EEA version 11 with official Miflash way but the update app don't see any update available...
So i'm stuck on MIUI 11 and i don't know how to get my phone back to vanilla ROM.
My bootloader is actually unlocked but i already had tried to lock it by selecting the "relock bootloader" in MiFlash and same result "no update available" in MIUI update app.
Download the latest system update package of EEA, install the update manually

HiSuite - How to offline update rom?

Huawei stopped giving bootloader code, my last option is to use the DC-Unlocker.
The problem is it won't work with the latest security patch of EMUI 8.
So I'm trying to rollback my Huawei Nova 2i to the possible old version of EMUI to make the DC-Unlocker work. I used HiSuite 10.00502, HiSuite Proxy, and Firmware Finder.
The problem is I have a minimal connection to download the Full-OTA one by one. Sometimes it keeps failing to install the downloaded ROM for some unknown reason and keeps deleting the downloaded file.
So, I can download the specific file of ROM but I don't know if it is possible to install it offline using the HiSuite.
