Question Can the Chinese version ACE pro to be flashed with the GlobalROM? - OnePlus 10T 5G

I am not sure what is the difference between the 10T and the Chinese region exclusive ACE Pro, I would assume they are the same phone.

There is no difference, I have successfully flashed the Chinese version of the OnePlus Ace Pro into the Indian version of the ROM, and everything is functional.

Any improvement over the Oxygen OS. I would think the Chinese version has better thermal limit allowing for better performance. Could you also share from where to get the Chinese version and how to go about flashing. Will simply doing local install work?

Chinese ROM don't have gapp.
I think there is no any way to flash without unlock bootloader.
You can relock bootloader after flash.

How did you manage to unlock the bootloader? The fast boot commands "fastboot OEM unlock" or "fastboot flashing unlock" are not working for me. I have enabled the OEM unlock from the settings though.
Without fastboot how do I root?

May you share the link to download global rom for 10T please?

Back to Oxygen OS after spending a brief day with ColorOS.
Brief Summary - wasn't able to get my banking apps to work and therefore back to Oxygen OS. Had even locked the bootloader. Color OS does offer better performance (around 2% or so) and is evident with benchmark scores (antutu, geekbench 3d mark), however, the bloatware is so pathetic you start to appreciate O2 OS.
For Oxygen OS full rom, use Oxygen Updater from Playstore, select advance option and download the full package instead of incremental

What's the steps for Changing ROM from ColorOS to OOS?

Either you go to color os from OOS or vice versa, the steps are same.
You need to have unlocker bootloader and can flash the payload.bin via fastboot enhance. Note, this will erase all your data, so back it up first.

will this invalid the NFC and banking apps?

Well I have relocked my bootloader after getting to Color and my banking apps work fine. Can't confirm about NFC as haven't used that, but I see it gets enabled without any issues.
PS - Make sure every partition gets flashed properly via fastboot enhance as that's critical for relocking the bootloader.

What process did you go through? I'm interested in MIUI8/root/GAPPS.
As for MIUI8 it seems that the only available version is the China Dev one. It comes bundled with a ton of useless chinese apps, no root, no gapps.

Mine hv previous china dev rom installed (miui7 6.5.26) before, and i was download miui8 from official site and flash it manually via updater (choose update package). No data loss or relocked BL after (even all my games still there)
Gapps using google apps installer.apk frm mi market.
Root: just tap root permission in security apk and it will download (i assume its miui root file or something) and device will rebooting by it self after. Done.
Ps: i have no superSU installed.

I have an unlocked bootloader and the Chinese version, I tried flashing the global firmware using TWRP that I installed temporarily ( I wanted to keep the original recovery so I can lock the bootloader later on), I ended up with soft bricked phone, the phone booted to the main Welcome screen of which I can select a preferred language and region, there were tons of languages but only one region (China) and once selected, I started getting error message "Find devices closed unexpected" and the phone kept rebooting. I had to reinstall TWRP and sideload the Chinese firmware from my PC through ADB sideload to get my phone working again.
Exactly what I was afraid of. I hope official gets released soon via OTA. By the way, can we OTA from China to Global?

For Those Who Didn't Receive MIUI 12 Yet, Here's How To Get It NOW (EU GLOBAL!)

I just bought my XIAOMI NOTE 10 one week ago and I was so eager to get MIUI 12, but I had to wait since I was on EU GLOBAL ROM. I couldn't flash Masik Rom since I had to wait 7 days because of the timer on the bootloader unlock tool. Anyways, after some researches; I can confirm, this method works WITHOUT UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER. And I'm on MIUI 12 right now.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
- Make BACKUP since all data will be lost.
- On your phone, make sure you turn on USB DEBUGGING in DEVELOPER OPTIONS.
- Download Xiaomitool v2 and follow the steps to detect your phone and connect it.
- Choose Miui Official Roms (YOU DON'T NEED TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER) then CHOOSE GLOBAL if you are coming from EU GLOBAL.
- Wait for the procedure to end, don't rely on the data shown, since it will show crazy numbers lol. You'll know when the installation ends, it will be obvious.
- Once your phone successfully boots and you complete setting it up, head to SETTINGS/ UPDATE/ click on MIUI logo until you unlock additional options.
- From the menu choose CHOOSE UPDATE PACKAGE, and select this file after downloading it: https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.1.0.QFDMIXM/miui_TUCANAGlobal_V12.0.1.0.QFDMIXM_1dec6077cd_10.0.zip (THIS IS THE GLOBAL MIUI 12)
- Accept, wait... enjoy MIUI 12. :good:

Yes, I'm asking all the time over flash GLOBAL ROM over EEA ROM without previously unlock the bootloader.
Really is strange, due to the main funcion of the bootloader is to prevent a not specific ROM is flashed.
This is strange also due to you can't flash GLOBAL over EEA in recovery mode. Why is that possible in fastboot mode is a mistery...

Realme 7 RMX2155 Bootloader Unlock Or Roll-Back?

Hello there.
I am aware that - at the moment - the global version of this phone cannot be unlocked. I'd just like to know when - if ever - the bootloader will be able to be unlocked, and if I can still roll-back to earlier versions of Android with SP Flash Tools (I really don't like how restrictive Android 11 is. Shame on Google.).
Thanks.

What are you asking exactly? If you are asking if the apk method of boot-loader unlocking works for this model: It does not. I am not exactly sure why, though.
I have the same model.
No bootloder unlock.
Tryed different region, flashed different ROM model. No luck.
Rollback a11 to a10 work with this update from recovery.

3. Magisk
https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases
Stable magisk will work?
Has anyone tried this to convert their ROM and did it work?
So I tried this and it worked, changed Chinese rom to Global Rom, without having to do copy all the code like in the other convert thread.
I moved from UI3 chinese rom to UI2 global, then just had to certify the device to get access to google play!
can one please make a video orpictures about it?!?!?!?
i don't get into that TWRP

Which magisk you are using alpha or stable?

I've tried both versions. but I don't quite understand how it all works... (Sorry google translater)
I used magisk alpha through twrp.
I can't do a video sorry, all I wanted to do was let everyone know that it works and seems to be a lot easier(for me anyway) than the other way of trying to get a global ROM working.
I think I'm too stupid for that
can write me a step-by-step guide ?
its literally a step by step guide in the first post.
you'll need the files from the links provided!
unfortunately it doesn't work for me, no idea what I'm doing wrong
Bootloader unlock isn't required?
My bootloader was unlocked, yes

Hi, I just have a few questions
1. You used the EU Rom from this thread right? And if so are you receiving OTA updates? According to a different thread on this topic, people are having to use the IN Rom in order to still receive OTA Updates.
2. Are apps like Google Pay working, and other functions of the phone like NFC and 5G working?
1. I used the EU ROM, which is .a09 I was on the ui3 Chinese ROM.
After flashing the ROM I have done an ota update and am now on a.17
2. I'm not sure about Google play as I've rooted the phone and this version of magisk doesn't have hide, so doesn't work
Everything else that wasn't working on Chinese ROM ui3 is working.
Vowifi, volte, NFC, Android auto 5g(no switching problem) all now work
I was considering getting a new phone before this, as so many features were annoying me or missing on the Chinese ROM.

Hopefully, my final question,
I can't seem to find a way to unlock my bootloader on ui3, may I ask how you unlocked your bootloader?
The only solution I can find at the moment is to downgrade to android 11 ui2 CN Rom .A24 and then unlock the bootloader through that way since the deep testing app for unlocking the bootloader will not install on ui3 for me.
Thanks in advance!
(ps. I don't have the app already installed, I have checked 5 times already.)
You might need to downgrade back to UI 2 as I unlocked my bootloader using deep test before updating to UI3. (Yeah I looked at that after I had gone to UI3 and it said it was already installed, but couldn't find it or search for it either)
Hi again, what am I ment to do from here? This is after doing the fourth step. @unparalleled82

Depends if you want to root it or not. If not then just reboot and should be on the version you've installed

Well, something has gone wrong. when rebooting it only seems to go to the realme UI recovery I didn't want root so I could use Google Pay. I am not sure what do do now. Should I wipe data, and try to redo the whole thing? (edit: if you are a newcomer and see this message, be sure to look at page 2 (spoiler: it worked!))
