Question Can I change the one-handed mode in POCO M4 Pro 4G and make it the same as in Note 11s? - Redmi Note 11S 4G / POCO M4 Pro 4G (fleur)

The one-handed mode in POCO M4 Pro is terrible because it just splits the screen in half, but it does not make it narrower. Also, the slider didn't work properly (try to adjust the brightness for example). Can I change the one-handed mode to a classic 4-inch display, like the Note 11s?
Thanks!

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon ( Pros and Cons )

If somebody wants to buy Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon, maybe this pros and cons can help.
This pros and cons are from my point of view, from my experience and needs from one smartphone.
After 2 weeks of usage. (Latest Global ROM)
Pros:
- Display (when you are inside, nice colors and sharpness)
- Performance (nice and smooth in day to day use, 78k on antutu, more than S6,Z5,Nexus6..)
- Speaker and Headphone out
- Battery life (average usage on wifi messenger, instagram, viber, browser and bluetooth music streaming.. Getting 8h+ on screen time)
- Camera (but only for social networks)
- Slot for SD Card
- Fast fingerprint sensor
Cons:
- Camera (when you put captured images on PC or zoom in you can see whats going on)
- Lack of Optical image stabilisation
- Display (when you are outside and wearing sunglasses you almost can't see anything on screen)
- Notification LED (tiny and dark)
- MIUI restrictions for font change and theme customization
- Lack of 2.0 quickcharge
Thats it for now.

I agree with your point of view and i will share with you little tricks to optimize cons parts
1.camera----->install Google camera from Play Store;you will get a better performance&quality
2.display:a)set colors to "cool"
b)set contrast to"increased contrast"
3.MIUI deep customization:a)turn off internet on the device
b)clear data from theme app(don't worry, you will don't lose any previously downloaded theme)
c)open theme app with internet off and go to desired category of customization
d)turn on internet and you will be able to download whatever you want:boot skins, lock screens, icons, etc
4.notification LED--->you can change LED color

Thank you on advice!
1. will try again. I have tried with google camera first day but results were almost the same.
2. Still can't see outside when it's sunny and wearing sunglasses.
Redmi Note 3 Mediatek version have 30% brighter/better screen on sunny day situations.
Xiaomi said that they have changed "screen pixel technology" on Snapdragon version and now it sucks on sunny days unfortunately.
3. Worked!
4. Any color, LED light is small and dark.. they should put bigger or brighter LED light.

Actually i used mediatek version and snapdragon version of this Phone, snapdragon variant is better under Sun light. You are not able to see with sunglasses it is true but the colours on screen will be lightened in snapdragon variant. It is called as sunlight technology and it works when you choose automatic contrast in screen settings :good:

Why my camera is not in full screen mode?

As title said, my camera cannot display in full screen mode instead it only display in part of the screen as the black screen occupy by the button selection, can somebody help me?
You have your camera set at 4:3 resolution. Set it to 16:9 (slide left menu) and you should get full screen.

Is this suppose to be pro mode in camera setting? I mean if i set as standard to resolution setting is disable and I cannot click on the resolution. Only if I change to pro mode then only i can change the resolution but this is annoying since the pro mode show the information block the screen
To get full screen you must set resolution to 8MP 18:9 aspect if you have M10pro
Or 16:9 if normal M10 i think

No, don't need Pro mode. Just pull from the right side of the camera app. This will get you into general settings.
Chose 16:9 format, then slide the setting page closed.

Disable any add-on. (portrait mode, wide aperture mode) Then change resolution.
I am having the same problem on my Huawei nova 3e. The issue is not about the camera being in full screen mode. The issue is some items which are displayed down below cannot be displayed anymore. For example, if I go to pro mode, it cannot display items like iso, etc so that I can adjust the settings. Or if I click portrait mode, it does not display where to click for bokeh effect or adjust beauty

Ways to control Mate 10 Pro? (hide navbar)

Dear members/owners!
I am considering buying the Mate 10 Pro or Honor View 10.
One thing that keeps me from the purchase is the lack of front reader on the Mate 10 Pro.
Basically, I have fallen in love with the P10 Pro's front reader's gestures. It's so great to get all that extra screen estate. But, if there is a workaround/solution for the Mate 10 Pro, I am sold. (The AMOLED panel means better battery life, it has +250mAh juice, and it also has a barometer and a better GPS and OIS.)
I saw a Youtube vid about the Oreo EMUI, that you can place this little circle on the screen, and control the device through that. (I.e.: return to homescreen, etc.)
My question is:
- Is this circle the only way of alternative controls? Are there others?
- Can you use a PIE control (with or without root?). If you don't know what is it, it's a program that hides the bottom navbar, and you slide up your finger from bottom to get a virtual controller. It worked amazing on my G Pro 2.
- I know the fingerprint sensor can pull down the notification bar, but can it do more?
Thank you all!

Fullscreen mode?

Hey guys is there any way to have fullscreen mode like is on xiaomi with 18:9 display... I was choosing between mix 2s and mate 10 pro... And Mate won naturaly... But I would like the full screen mode as is on Xiaomi. Any help?
Also is it possible to keep the supercharging animation on screen?

Question How to set brightness beyond max

I use now a Samsung a7 lite tablet instead of my realme 7 phone to navigate at sea. But the tablet even at max brightness is not bright enough to see the screen from an angle. While with me realme this is no problem.
Is there a way to set the brightness brighter than the max than can be set by using the slider with or without auto brightness.
Maybe a special app, rom of hidden setting ?
I'm not sure about the A7, but I use High Brightness Mode by flar2 on my s10e.
From the Play Store:
"This app triggers an extra high brightness mode that is built in to many phones with AMOLED screens, including most Samsung, Motorola and OnePlus phones."
But it requires root to go beyond the established max:
"HBM does not require root on Samsung devices, but the screen can will be brighter if your device is rooted. With root, this app can force maximum brightness beyond what is available in system settings."
Hope it works.
