Question HELP.. LOST IMEI & no QCN Backup... Stock S/W is GN2200_11_A.05 - OnePlus Nord N20 5G

Man... I have tried so many different IMEI Repair tools, Phones rooted (Magisk) and I have TWRP.. I backed up QCN with my null IMEI but cannot find the Hex or the "088A" Starting numbers for it to change it back to my original IMEI. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I will attach some pics and programs/tools I been using.. I was able to finally get a green light and pass on this one tool after I Extracted the files into platform tools and took ownership of the (tool).exe, however, after rebooting my phone, *#06# still reads "NULL"

yeah grab these files
on your A0.5 firmware an reflash them in fastboot an your imei might be fixed AS THIS METHOD WORKED FOR ME!!

Why are u flashing over persist? Don't do that unless it's your original, some of the partitions on your device are device specific as they contain your IMEI and serial , board number etc... And if they don't match then your radios and other things probably won't work again without reflashing your originals. Anyone feel free to correct me if I lack any info

Im pretty sure the whole phone is f*cked.. I flashed it to death.. lol. wont even turn on. screen stays black. Live and let learn I guess.

phone phone shouldn't be dead by flashing. try "holding down both vol buttons an power button" for 1 min til phone vibrates

I've tried it. Won't even vibrate or light up to show its charging.

Restore partitions of phone? Bricked?!

Hello I need a way to restore the phones partitions. Like boot and recovery and u-boot and x-boot and system and cache and data and all the others. The phone has no known partitions. And because of that I am unable to flash my phone back to a working state. I have tried in fastboot to run OEM format. But it failed. If there is something I can flash in a .bin or a kdz I can flash it in software mode. Or if there is a way to do it in fastboot mode I can also do that. But those are the only two things my phone can do right now. And worse is each time I enter either fastboot or software download mode it will only stay on and active for about 2 minutes until the phone shuts off. And I have to start over completely. So I can flash a whole kdz or bin as they take too long. Please help me?!

Are you getting an error of "Remote Partition Doesn't Exist"? If so that usually means you have a hardware problem.
Try this -

Yes that is what it says.

I am not sure how to do a lelus method. Unless his method is the omap4boot thing normally called fastboot? If so I have done that. If not can you explain how I can do the lelus method?

Yeah the lelus method is for fastboot... Did you install the drivers on your PC twice? You have to run the lelus script 2 times to get it to actually work.
You might also want to look at this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2585161
I do believe i did the driver correctly and iv done the flashing of the lelus script like 60 times lol

Im pretty sure it's a hardware problem but, Exactly... It's definitely worth trying to fix it.
I got a remote partition does not exist on every count. For the erase commands and for the write commands. So does that mean im **** out of luck? I keep thinking since i can get into fastboot and software mode i should be able to do something but yet nothing is working.
Is there any way to use the omap4boot to send the infor to the phone? Since i cant send the phone into fastboot or software mode without omap4boot it seems to show that that program gets the phone into a more working state maybe it can also do the flashing? or a script to keep the phone in the software mode for longer than 2 minutes?

Unfortunately I think the EMMC is fried...
If you can figure out how to adapt this method and get it to work on the L9 this is probably your only hope -
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/71825-hard-brick-to-hell-and-back-guide-to-recovery/
Other than that you could try taking it to a service center and having them try an OctopusBox to repair it or go where you bought it and try to make a warrant claim.
I know it sucks but I think these are your only real options. I'm not sure about were you live but I can buy a brand new L9 right now for $30 from MetroPCS.
Ouch. And it does look promising the link you provided just not sure if I will be able to make it work for my phone model. But I'm going to look into it. Looks like only one thing might be device specific that I don't already have and may have to make or find someone to make for my phone.

I have exact same problem. Only have to fix partitions is by Omap flasher. But we need to port the memory configuration for it. People have done it for galaxy Nexus (Tuna ) and galaxy tab. Omap flasher is the last hope in this phone.
Or
Hardware way would be flashing emmc using Z3X easy JTAG box.

I still have the phone and it's still in the same condition. I was never able to get it working I gave up probably the next days as I had spent like a week on it already I had decided it's probably just a brick. I have no idea where or what I was doing with it at that time tho. I know I was only very slightly ever able to see that it wasn't completely bricked like some program was able to see it when connected to the PC. But no lights on the device no nothing. So I have no clue how to fix it.

Imei Problem

Hello guys, i have this really troublesome phone here, that by all means refuses to work. A friend of mine brought this to me and asked me to fix it, apparently the previous owner tried to flash the phone and managed to pretty much delete everything, even the EFS folder.
I managed to fix the bootproblems, install CWM and CM 12.So far the phone is up and running, but now i face the issue with the Imei. I have the original IMEI on the back, but i have no clue how to actually edit it. It's currently stuck on the genereic IMEI which is 0049xxxxxx.
Honestly i tried nearly everything.
Installed stock firmware with odin, didn't work
I tried to edit files, didn't work.
Installed xposed to get a new IMEI, it shows the right IMEI but still doesn't work.
Tried to access CDS information in Engineer mode,doesn't work, since when i type * # * # 3646633 # * # * ,it simpy does nothing
When i try to use the rndis +dm + Modem mode,my PC can't recognize the phone
When i try to use the default Recovery, it doesn't show me the option to enable CP logging, so i won't be able to use dm at all
The phone is a I9300 international, and i would love to throw it out my window atm. I hope there is a genious here that can help.

The dialler codes only work on stock ROMs. Find and flash one if you want to be able to use the dialler codes. THe rndis+dm+modem option i believe is only for Snapdragon-powered devices, or in the case of the i9305, a Qualcomm-powered modem. The only real choice here is Z3X BOX, but if you let me search around, i might be able to find something. And one more thing, the generic IMEI is no problem in itself. One can use a phone in a network with the generic IMEI. I have a friend that bought an LG G3 that is a pre-production unit, not development, not review, but pre-production. Even with the LG sticker in Korean under the battery that certifies it to be a pre-production unit, not for sale. The IMEI is genuine and he uses it to this day.

Sadly it can't even be done with z3x box, since the phone refuses to go DM mode.
@alexander:
The codes also work on other roms like CM, i can confirm that. Sadly everything that has something to do with enabling DM mode doesn't work. See if you can find something. Idk if anyone here actually is able to modify the nv_data.bin file with the proper IMEI, but if someone could, that would be helpful.

Bro I think that you have confused with z3x box because first you have flash stock rom then root your phone then connect it directly don't try to turn it on "download mode" than simply repair your imei in repair section on right side of SAMSUNG TOOL 18.9
And then Set your imei which is written on you phones back , when you remove battery or it is written on your phone box okay :fingers-crossed:
And if you on 4.3 then after setting imei you have to repair your network otherwise you will face "Not registered on network"
Best of luck
And main thing is that z3x don't want Download mode okay so remove this problem from your mind

DM is not downloadmode, it's diagnostic mode, which my perticular S3 apparently doesn't support for some reason. If your phone can't go into DM mode, even the z3x box won't be able to help at all.
The mmi codes dont work outside of stock roms. I think kies can fix the imei issue. There is also a thread on that issue.

Bricked Tmobile lg-k7

Hello Everyone,
I have a questions and hopefully some one can help me out here. My son has bricked my phone and I believe it is a soft brick... could be wrong. However, I need to find away too unbrick it.
I can get into hard reset with out issues. however with everything I do, I can't get into recovery what's so ever. The phone just hangs at the loading screen. I have talked to my son in order to find out what he did and this is exactly what he told me
He installed king root and attempted to replace-kinguser-with-supersu. However when he installed the application, it asked to reboot the phone. Well he rebooted the phone and now it is stuck at the loading screen and wont go any further than that. He also told me that he did not remove kingroot prior too the reboot. Please help! as I need my phone for work.
I am out of options on what too do. I would post the guide he used but I am limited due too the spamming regulations of the board.
Any one have an idea on how to unsoft brick this phone? I am all out of options as the only two options I have are hard boot and download mode.

According to the good people here on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/qa-metro-pcs-lg-k7-lgms330-t3331678 there is only a paid solution at the moment.
http://lg-firmware-rom.com/download...330-dll-for-lg-up-unbrick-lg-k330-with-lg-up/
if it is a lg k7 k330 (tmo) i followed this guide http://www.repairshopusa.com/phone/lg-k7-k330-unbrick-method/
Thank you for the information. However the lgup application does not recognize my phone. Indicates that the model is "Unknown"
Guess i am out of luck lol
Not uncommon. Sometimes you need to unplug and replug the device back in or close and reopen the program.
Thank you for the information. Does the USB debugging option need to be enabled because if it does, I don't think it is as the my computer does not recognize my device at all. Under computer, it shows as k7. However when I got into the device manager it indicated "LGE Android MTP device".
No. USB Debugging only works while booted into the system or recovery. You must be in Download Mode for the LG Up tool.
At this time, I am really frustrated as nothing is currently working at this time. Possibly because the phone just went under a hard reset. I have changed the port too 41 and ran the flash tool and that was not able too pick up my phone either. Also, I can't seem to get the lgup to work correctly as it's still not working correctly.
I have uninstalled the applications belonging too lg, rebooted and then reinstalled them and I still get the same thing. I have attached screen shots below. lgup does indicate the firmware I need, however I can't get too it lol

If I remember right, you have to make it search for *.kdz otherwise it's looking for .tot files, which is why it's probably not seeing the firmware you need.

Yes you are correct. However the file that I have downloaded from the link below doesn't actually provide you with a kdz file. The file provided you the files that have been extracted from the kdz file, which are the (LGK330.dz) file
Ah, weird. Never worked on an LG that didn't use .tot, .kdz, or .bin files. I guess just search for *.dz and it should load according to the link the other guy put up.

I might be SOL... :c

I started out rooting my phone and installed TWRP and Cyanogenmod. Everything was working fine. I play Pokemon GO and I noticed it did not work after an update because my device was rooted. So I had the dumb idea to unroot my phone. No big deal right? Wrong. So now my phone is no longer rooted. Next I attempted to put the stock firmware back on my phone so I got a few images and zips and attempted to install them. They kept failing but at some point I must have accidentally deleted the boot or something because now when I turn on my phone it immediately goes to a green screen with a red rectangle at the top and a blue rectangle at the bottom. It stays there for maybe a second and then goes to a screen that is black and at the top in blue letters it says "Boot image verify failed!" and under that in white text it says "Please update to the authorized images." After about a minute it changes to the Huawei eRecovery screen where it says EMUI at the center and says "Download latest version and recovery" but every time I try that it fails. I have attempted to research how to fix this online but every potential solution requires I have a rooted device or be able to actually access my phone but I don't have a rooted device and I have no way of using my phone. I am able to get to the Android fastboot and rescue screen but again, it doesn't seem like it matters since my phone is locked and everything I've seen thus far that involves unlocking or resolving my issue, requires I either have access to the phone or have an unlocked device. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I hope you guys can help me.
P.S. I literally just now made my xda account to inquire about my situation. I apologize in advance if I am breaking any kind of policy or posting this in the wrong section or something.

You need device serial, IMEI and device id to get an unlock code from Huawei.
IMEI and serial, should be on the side of the box and for device id, you can go to
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/general/bricked-honor-7-honor-6-id-t3468333/page1
But better still, download the latest firmware for your phone, extract to get dload folder containing UPDATE.APP . Copy dload folder to the root of an SD card.
Insert it on your phone. Hold power+vol up+ vol down until the phone reboots. Let go of power but keep other two pressed for 5 sec more. Your device should start a forced update. If it does not work, unlock bootloader as mentioned above and flash images manually.

Exactly what muradulislam said, is a good method I had a similar issue about a month ago. Get the appropriate download for your firmware, extract the UPDATE.APP, place UPDATE.APP in the root of a fat32 formatted SD card and force the update as he described. You will be back at stock with the unlocked bootloader. From there you should be able to use ADB to flash TWRP and subsequently SuperSU binaries to your stock.

I have already attempted to get the unlock code from Huawei. I have done it before, that is how I unlocked in the first place. However, the unlock code I got before did not work to unlock it this time so like I said, I tried going through that process again. It was asking for Model Number and Product ID, both of which are obtained from having the phone on and using the dial pad, which again, I cannot do because I cannot get past the boot stuff I mentioned. I can try the other idea you mentioned, I really hope it works.

I also clicked on that link and attempted to download the hacker toolkit but it did not work. After downloading and attempting to open I get this error: "Windows cannot open the folder."
"The Compressed (zipped) Folder 'C:\Users\BCNgu\Downloads\Huawei Hacker Toolkit v1.4.zip' is invalid."

I can try the other idea you mentioned, I really hope it works.

please post a photo of the bootloader screen that says your bootloader is locked
and explain what you did to get it that way. unrooting the phone will not relock the bootloader

There are two files there, one is zipped and one unzipped... Both are not working for you?
I double checked them myself and another user did the same.
I can't say what's the problem when you download it...

your OP never states that you relocked the bootloader
Please post the photo of your phone in the bootloader
and the command screen where you tried to reflash TWRP

Well I solved my initial issue but another thing is still happening. I can now get into my phone but I still get that green screen with the red and blue rectangles initially on bootup. I'm not sure how to get that to go away

well I spoke too soon. I was able to get back to using my phone using your method but I still get that green screen with the red and blue rectangles on boot up. I'm not sure how to get that to go away. It stays on that for a few seconds then goes to the honor splash screen and boots as normal but it's irritating seeing that every time. On another note, I was thinking if I unlock it that would solve it but I went to the huawei site to unlock and went through the whole process and when it told me to use the 357946 code to obtain the product ID it did nothing for me except pull up a blank white screen.
That's weird

Any other instances of the red and blue rectangles except boot up?
Do you think that screen splash is because of all the tinkering or may be, (someone may be able to confirm) the boot animation file is corrupt?
Try searching a method to change your boot animation without root? If it still stays, at least we can rule out this possibility...
(I am just Troubleshooting so I may be wrong)
And as for Huawei unlock code, many users reported captcha bugs (captcha did not show up) but never this problem?
Give it a try or two more and then contact Huawei customer service via email to get the unlock code (specifying that the website did not work for you).

The hacker tool worked this time but I did the whole process and got my unlock code and did the adb fast boot unlock oem thing and it said invalid unlock key (I'm thinking maybe because I already unlocked once before? I also attempted to get the key a few more times to see if it changed but it did not. Same unlock key every time. Also, no the only time I see the rectangles and the green screen is immediately upon boot. The splash screen is normal, I didnt mean to imply there was anything wrong with that. It's just the honor logo. I did research and nothing that I saw helped with getting rid of the rectangles and the green screen.

If its the first honor logo then I am not sure how to proceed.

Just5 Freedom X1 MT6753 Baseband version unknown

Greetings smart people,
Baseband version unknown
Imei unknown
What i have done so far:
1. Factory reset(not helping)
2. Have flashed stock rom 6.0 and 7.0 many many times  (needrom)(not helping)
3. Have gained root access and deleted NVdata folder(not helping)
4. Have formatted NVRAM manually through SPflashtool.(not helping) Waited, cleared cache, dalvik cache waited....nothing
Now this is where this is getting strange.
1. Trying to connect with SPtool to try and fix the nvram(everything connects) when i choose the exact same BPLGU file it says: nvram database file is inconsistent with target load
2. Pulled the exact same BPLGU file that I have in the phone with adb, but it is still inconsistent.
3. Have tried many many database files it is still inconsistent.
So guys what am i missing here? By the way, it did start strange. Phone was charging overnight, when i took it off, i did not have cellular network, restarted phone and.... Baseband version unknown, Imei unknown.
I trust you still have your retail box with IMEI on it. Use MAUI Meta tool to reflash the NVRAM (I was in a similar situation, "INVALID IMEI"). I'm a bit unsure about the baseband and how you managed to get rid of it, but my X1 uses "MOLY.LR9.W1444.MD.LWTG.MP.V110.5.P15". If you have any idea on how I can get you the baseband flashable, let me know, I got MagiskSU and willing to help out.

Yes I have the box with both imei`s. Cannot get it fixed with MAUI meta. Maybe you can get me the whole backup of your phone?
If you have any specific partitions, tell me. I'm going to get it at evening. Glad you still have your passion about the phone! Also willing to enter META mode to dump info.

Got no passion.... not really. It`s just sitting on a shelf. Gave up. Waiting for your backup and going to try and fix it again.

Sorry for the wait! I was staging your exact situation, so I can get a clear solution path;
I managed to brick my baseband as well, META tool gave me modem exceptions. However, after my research, I found out that if you format all + download your ROM in SP Flash Tool, you can use the META tool again, and baseband becomes recognized again! Make sure you got all the VCOM drivers and such. Hope what I just did can help you bring new life to your phone and dust it off the shelf! Keep in mind, that this *relocks the bootloader*, but it's worth the sacrifice as you can just open the BL again.
Cheers
If this helped me, make sure to thank my post.
