full screen ... with build.prop - M.O.J.O. Android Development

i have just added qemu.hw.mainkeys = 0 to get rid of the navigation bar .... must be rooted
a day ago i turn on the mojo ... and i got "not supported" massage ,unplug & plug
and the navigation is back ...
any other tweaks without install any app?
any suggestion for rotation disable ... without install any app ?
haim.

Hi!
I wonder how that worked for you. The correct setting is
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=[B][COLOR="Red"]1[/COLOR][/B]
because you want the device to act like it had hardware keys.

well i don't see any reason for those key to be used .... after all we have back & home on the controller
and to watch a movie in KODI .... thy always on ,other player hide them ...
btw i found an apk that can do it for you ... if you don't want to mess with it ... (install ,do the change & uninstall )

[Q] Arctools 0.50 strange settings options !!!

Hello
yesterday I rooted my A70 250 GB to move soft buttons on bar.
I installed arctools 0.50 and I wrote "no"
in "ro.board.has_buttonbar" option.
fine ... after reboot the hated soft buttons are in notification bar.
Today I open again arctools to see inside it.
I noticed that options folder do not show anymore the option "ro.board.has_buttonbar=no"
?!?!?!?
I see only
FILE option ( and you can select only file)
KEY option ( and you can select only key)
where is the possibility to move back soft buttons ?
what is happened ?
I tryed to uninstall and reinstall again , but it is the same !!!!
please help me !
thanks

Hm... strange
You could send an e-mail to arctablet, the developer of arctools
Or you could install urukdroid, you have the option to move the buttons in the "control" app of UD
I posted the question on arctablet forum in the page of arctools.
I noticed if I uninstall and download it again from applib it works only 1 time.
I have to uninstall and download again to have it working another time.
If I copy the .apk on Archos and install it from the archos rather than downloading from the applib , it do not work also first time....!
very very strange

[Q] How can I take a quick picture by bypassing the lockscreen

Hi all.
I want my phone to be normally protected by a pincode but I'd like to disable it when my phone is locked and I press the camera key to take a quick picture.
I tried this solution : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28194573&postcount=8
I read this but without result : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1687405
I tried with tasker to create a profile that's like this:
trigger : - camera key pressed event
task : - disable lockscreen
- launch camera app
But it seems that tasker doesn't get that I press camera key even if I modify my camera & focus key declaration to wake in my system/usr/keylayout folder
See this for more info about key layout files : http://source.android.com/tech/input/key-layout-files.html
My phone is a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini (St15i) and I'm running a custom rom (Serenity V3) based on stock. It's Android 4.0.4
Do you have any idea?
Thanks.
P.S if my question isn't clear, just tell me that I can explain more/better .
No one has an idea how to do it?

You can try with TASKER. It's an app available in the PLAY STORE
You need to be ROOT and TASKER is NOT free...
If you decide to install it, I'll tell you how to do it.
First you must enable TASKER as administrator from the SETTINGS app.
Go to SETTINGS > SECURITY > DEVICE ADMINISTRATORS > Activate TASKER
Then, open the Tasker app.
There are three tabs in the app: PROFILES, TASKS, SCENES
Go to TASKS
Create a new task > APPLICATION > LOAD APPLICATION
And choose your desired application (Dyon's ORIGINAL launcher called simply "LAUNCHER", not your own)
Once you've done this, go to PROFILES
and create a new one and name it as your wish. I named it "BOOTING"
Then you're prompted to chose the first context > You should choose EVENT
After that, you search for DEVICE REBOOT (or something similar). Choose it.
Now, in the list of profiles you'll have your "BOOTING" profile. Clic on it and ADD TASK
Which one? the one you just created (The one that opens Dyon original launcher)
Now you only have to ACTIVATE the profile (move tab to YES) and the MAIN DYON LAUNCHER will be executed on boot,
providing you the network interfaces and the mouse support. With this, you can now set your NOVA LAUNCHER as default.
When you press HOME, your Nova Launcher will load. Also, on reboot... it will also load, since it is the default launcher.
However, since you've configured Tasker to launch the Dyon Launcher on boot, this launcher will ALSO start.
Perhaps you end up viewing the Dyon Launcher layout at boot because it might load AFTER Nova... but it doesn't matter.
You can clic the home button of with your mouse and you'll see Nova back... and forget about it till next reboot
Hope this little guide helps you!
That was it,now every think is ok!Thank YOU!
But i have one more question:
1.the problem is that the Dyon don`t have a build in Microfone(or can i build one to the audio out(that it is work like audio in)???),and i wount to use Skype(i can hear and see the other Person),when i Plug a USB MICOFONE in it,that other Person can hear me,but when i use a wireless mouse and the micofone togerther, that other Person can`t understand what i said,he hear something, but he said he hear me like a robot, can i do something that the mouse and the microfone are woking together?
2.and it is posible to use a usb camera?when i plug my usb cam i have a green picture on skype<--?
3.and is it posible that a bluetooth stick would work on the Dyon?(i wount to use a PS3 or Wii Controller to play the Nes/SNES Emu Games).
I see that Dyon Andromeda / Goclever Android Box 500 and Energy Android Tv Box are all the same, only the remote is other(you can change the firmware from one to other). And the Energy Sistem had the newest firmware(FW_Android_4.0.3_12-09-2013_rev04.rar)...

He said without root, and for this package, you need to flash a .zip which requires root.
If you have root, the easier way without any apps is this:

I can't find any way to enable them without root. Sorry.

i am also talking about that app but i did't see it require root
Thanks you guys so much for replying..:good:
But there are others apps too which can provide soft keys without root (Home & back button only)
like
1) Back button ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appspot.app58us.backkey&hl=en )
2) Virtual Button non ROOT for JB ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.ne.neko.freewing.VirtualButton )
3) Button Savior Non Root ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smart.swkey.nonroot&hl=en )
I was wondering if a app can provide soft Back & Home keys without any root (like the apps i mentioned above) then there must be some ways to do so by coding & by not using these apps.
like this one u guys mentioned. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2032117 , but unfortunately it required root which i dont wanna do because i don't want my device to be vulnerable.
so plz if anyone know the coding of even Home & Back soft keys plzz plzzz plzz tell me. because i really need it ,

I found 2 solutions for your problem:
1- Try adding "ro.show.navigationbar=0" instead of "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" (without the quotation marks ). But first make sure that they aren't present in the beginning. (Got this from: http://bit.ly/1sosAta )
2- The other way is by flashing a .zip file made by an XDA member and he posted it on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/themes-apps/mod-enable-screen-nav-soft-keys-t1918166
Here is the download link: http://nrecom.net/downloads/summary/11-navbar/189-nav-universal-aroma-16

Thank You but i got another problem now, & i think big one!
after trying so many time the 1st process i describe above & failed ,
I overwrite the "build.prob" file with a "build.prob" file which i manually copy using Es file explorer before rooting my device from SD Card.
But Before i overwrite i again edit the back up file & put this value qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 in it , & Then overwrite it.
& Then I unchecked "Quick Boot " Option In settings & shut down my phone & try to turn it on again but since then my phone is not starting. though the starting animation are playing at the moment i turn it on but freeze then, at the end of the starting animation.
I open boot loader by pressing Volume down + Power key together until the boot menu appear & Clear "eMMC" 3 times & reboot . but nothing happened.
Can u tell me what the hell happened with my phone? & How can i make it work again?

It's boot looping because you've done something wrong, so if you don't have CWM and a backup installed you'll have to reflash your device. You'll have to check your devices forum for help with that.

Amazfit Timer App - Now Working

All Amazfit Users,
Here comes the next custom App for Amazfit - Countdown Timer. I have tried to retain the Amazfit Stopwatch color scheme and theme.
Edit - The App is now working. :victory: With Notifications like inbuilt Alarm!! Download the updated App.
Notifications on time up is now implemented, giving the option to restart the timer or open the timer app.
Once you start the timer, click the button on your watch to return to Watch face or let the watch lome out (about 15 seconds)ut (about 15 seconds)
Known Issues:
When in the Timer App:
Do not click the watch button twice to lock the watch - This causes the notification to be shown only when you manually unlock the watch after the timer is up.
Do not swipe back when you are in the timer. This sometimes does not trigger the notification. Not sure why.
Instructions:
Download the APK from here: https://mega.nz/#!PRBRHajB!kBnQ9e2FJli45k2eUFFNLPAb8l8SRqscnQktpp-UjIY
Connect the watch to your computer via USB and access via ADB (install ADB Drivers as needed)
Open command prompt or shell
Type adb devices to check if your devices is listed
Uninstall any version (if you have installed it ) use adb uninstall com.madtechcorp.timer from your command prompt or shell
Type adb install Timer.apk to install the app to the watch (make sure to use the correct path to the APK, if not copied to ADB folder)
You should see the Success message after sometime
To uninstall type adb uninstall com.madtechcorp.timer from your command prompt or shell
In the watch, if you have not already enabled "Launcher App List", go to "More Settings" -> "About" -> Keep clicking legal information till you see countdown to zero. Once that is done, you will have the Lab link below. Click on Lab and select "Launcher AppList". This will restart your Launcher. Now go to the Right most app from your watch face, you will see the Launcher.
Scroll through and Click the Timer icon to launch the Timer
The default timer value is 5 Minutes. You can set custom timer values by clicking on the Timer value ( 1 Min to 23 hrs - 59 min). The watch will vibrate and show a notification when the timer is up.
Notes:
Launcher AppList may only be available in Chinese ROM. Not sure if it is available for US ROM Version. (If you are interested, there is thread by Neuer_User here https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=3539431 that will allow you to install latest English Translated Chinese ROM on your watch.

I don't see any value is creating something that already exists for the device. May be I can look at adding an action to goto inbuilt stop-watch from my App. But you can't comeback to Timer App from in-built stop watch.
could it be that the timer service somhow broke the alarm clock service? since i've installed the timer, the alarm doesn't work, i'll try to remove it and see if it affected in any way.

I don't seem to be having any issues with Alarm. I have multiple alarms throughout the day and all of them have been going off as expected. I tested an alarm with active timer and the alarm went off on the dot.
had to disable and re-enable the alarms, all started to work, don't think that it's app related.
Thanks again!
Thank you for the Timer! I use it a lot)
It would be really nice to have the app for viewing notes.
Something like Papyrus EX
Where notes exists as a directory with simple TXT files.
Ideally, all sync with folder on your phone =)
the timer apk is good, but you think it is possible added a round counter and rest counter for emom and tabata exercises?
Hi I got the US version watch and did some adb command to enable the launcher app list. Problem is why do I get "invalid apk file: timer.apk" evrytime I execute adb install timer.apk?
Does the watch need to be rooted to install the apk?

Of course:
1.) Install @Neuer_User's PACEfied ROM, it's based on the latest Chinese FW, and it's already rooted
2.) you can root your watch yourself
Yes, temporary root is sufficient. Enabling Launcher App List and installing AmazfitCNTimer.apk did work, right now, on 1.3.1US stock ROM.
Help! Trying to root but im stuck at fastboot logo on watch, everytime I enter "fastboot devices" on adb nothing is showing. Is there something wrong? How dobo proceed?
