Stock firmware or custom ROM

Can any one explain me please what is the difference between rooted stock firmware with all bloatware removed with Titanium back up and custom ROM?
thanks

Why don't you look in one of the custom ROM threads and read its features, maybe you'll find something?
Well we'll well...
Stock rooted firmware bloat removed is an original firmware with root/su so as to allow system changes hence boat removed.
Custom will be "pimped" all speed tweaks / themes etc etc.

There is a few things you can do:
1.Overclock kernel
2.remove all bloatware and add some build props to tweak out your current rom to make it a little faster.,
3...instead of using that rom..maybe you could upgrade to the same dev..but his other ics rom..which is to be said is very fast and stable..which will be extremly faster then what your on....

you can use titanium backup pro to freeze all the bloat... or you can root and flash a custom rom that has all the bloatware removed already for you.

Stock-based rom recommended??

Hey there! I have a i9300, using currently LineageOs.
As the camera quality its important to me, I would like to go to an stock-based rom, i'm looking for something with as less bloatware as possible, with good battery life etc.
All the topics I found are quite old, so if you have any suggestions, go ahead and shoot!
Flash stock, root, and use titanium backup to freeze or remove unnecessary apps.

Although valid, something I've noticed with touchwiz firmware is that if you freeze, hibernate or remove any of the 's' packages it'll bog the phone down. Stock roms are best being left as they are.
Beamed in by telepathy.
I have experimented with an s4 and s3 and haven't had issues with removing some Samsung apps. YMMV I guess.
Well, I'm looking for something like omega rom or QS-i9300
Of course I can install stock and remove crap by myself. I was looking for stock-based suggestions.
NeatROM 4.3 is pretty neat. Still my best stock based ROM.

thnx for the suggestion, as I had no replyes i' m currently on Android revolution HD (it has not much free ram right after install, but works good so far) but I will try your suggestion on the future.
More suggestios are wellcome! It looks like not so much people keeps on using their s3s, and those who do, propably won't use stock...
