How to disable pre installed apps? - OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Questions & Answers

I really wish to have this feature as I am coming from a OnePlus Device and I use to disable all the apps which I don't want to use.
Now in this Reno, I just see that Disable Apps option is just fade out and I am not able to disable any apps as I was use to do in my OnePlus.
Does anyone know how to disable apps?

Well, I don't want to remove the app as I may need them sometime. I don't know what is the point of not providing a way to disable the apps?

This actually doesn't remove the app...you can restore if you want to.

Warez is not something that is promoted nor condoned here on XDA!?

He is correct, (a better place to ask would've been Android General and Hacking , and i think a mod may move this into the trash very soon )

1. It shouldn't be asked, XDA is against warez
2. No, you can't.
what do you mean by modding the market app? Mod it to do what?
Forum Rules, please read
Thread closed due to warez discussion, and no, you can't do it, as the market can tell from its database.

[Q] Option to Hide .apk After install?

(This is my first post on the site)
I want to modify an app so that after installing, it doesn't show (Hidden) in the app section.
I don't have experience in this type of work.
I was fiddling around with root explorer thinking that I could find something that would allow me to make it hidden but, no luck.
I think and I really mean THINK that this type of setting would be in the apk xml?
but again were back to, how to extract that on windows 7?
If anyone can Help or assist me to the right direction It will be appreciated.
Got some views but not one single response, Did I post this in the wrong place?

i was looking into the same issue..Can anybody suggest a way to hide an app from app list once the app is installed
Nemus
The only way I know of to do that is to use another launcher. I would recommend Nemus launcher in Google Play. It has settings to hide apps, plus it's a lot smoother than Craperola's launcher :good:

Oh, I see what you're saying. I'm not sure why you'd need to call another APK, why no code it all in one. On the other hand, I'm no coding pro ;P. Anyway, I would post your question in one of these forums, you can probably get more help.

Canned SMS Replies - Hangouts

I use Hangouts, and I like to use the pre-composed replies while at work (especially in a meeting), where I can't do a verbal reply. Does anyone know of a way to customize those replies or add new replies? I didn't find anything specifically in Hangouts regarding that.
This is another one of those things where I don't know if it's a Wear thing, a Hangout thing, or what.

Install the rom that was linked over in the other thread and increase the intensity even more if you like it. Works like a charm

Why full permission is required for MOD apps?

Hi Everyone!
Greeting for the day! I hope you all are doing good.
I am here to ask a question which is bothering me from past few days . I am not any developer or geek, actually. So apology if this question is not relevant. I have been using mod apks from last few month but now I am realizing that all the apps requires almost full access or say permissions to your cell phone. So my question is "Why full permission is required for MOD apps?".
I mean is it really required to give full permission while creating a mod version or the developers unnecessary ask for it? So may be then can play with the data or other things when they are bored. :cyclops:
I used to download those apks from ONHAX or OSMDROID because they seemed better than any other place but now it's not same for me. I used to give full access but now I can n't. Could you please share your view and let me know if I can trust these websites or the full permissions?
I mean what about the application shared on XDA as well? Can we trust them? I know mostly people wants to help and seriously they do whatever they can, but still I have some confusion about this. Hence this thread.
Also if no, then is there any alternative way? like install app and then give only some permission manually which might be required for app.
Thank you in advance!
Have a nice day! :good:

Don't know about why they ask full permissions but yes,you can definitely change the permissions. There are many apps available on play store to change permissions but I would prefer advanced permission manager because it is reliable and easy to use.It also doesn't requires root to work,so it is really a nice application

Hi Milkyway3,
Thank you for your view. Indeed we can manage permissions. May be we can give same permission as the original app and hopefully that work.
Let's see what other guys think of this.

Question App lock in stock s20 plus

Hello ,
Is there any way to use app lock in a stock S20 plus?
I know that there is the secure folder but with this you hide the programs which I don't want .
I want to have an app lock to lock the applications and unlock them with fingerprint or face recognition as Xiaomi has it already
Thank you very much
+1
i want this too!!! Can someone make a xposed or magisk module, a flashable zip, anything? Even a guide would be enough. I did this in the past once, where you move the applock.apk into system apps and just edit some file in order for the applock option to come up in settings.
as far as I know that there is no such option, but I would really like it to be

You can do this with Hyperion Launcher
hyperion launcher - Apps on Google Play
Providing a beautiful yet feature-filled consolidated launcher experience!
play.google.com
Have you tried parental control? I haven't tried yet.
Have you tried these apps from playstore?
This one is better but it only gives you free 3 days trial. After that you must pay.

This on us not as good but is free is you don't mind ads.

I am using the Smart Applock for 2 days now. It's good but a little bit slow .
I am using the fingerprint unlock with this program but sometimes it doesn't appear and I have to put my pass code
We should concentrate on getting the official appLock Samsung app working on rooted devices and not flood this with Thread with third party alternatives that honestly all suck! I know you guys want to help but it’s not what the op asked for so in the end you guys doing the opposite.
Until samsung does something I will use a third party application .
I know that is not the best way.
I just found an Applock application that is very very very good .
It has fingerprint unlock and face unlock.
It supports face unlock only for pixel and some Samsung with Android 9 and above.
When you are in the screen of unlock the application shows the Knox sign in the Right bottom corner. I don't know if this application works with Knox but it shows that

Oh ok. Then you either forget applock or maybe change your csc to a region that supports applock natively in Stock rom.
