You created quite good ROM but what the reason to chnge the model? mcpro24fps more flexible to record video, you can even switch modules on fly, change birate, and so on... And most usefull option is disable noise suppression, is the best thing to improve quality.

yep, everything works fine. Sometimes, prolly bc of my high usage, when i pass the screen lock, it goes back to lock screen, so you basically have to introduce the pin/face id two times. But this happens rarely

No flashing, the first thing I did when I installed the rom was to test it, without modifying anything.
It comes out the same as in your image. I have read that video recording does not work in any custom rom

It's an issue, this is the first rom other than crdroid that worked for me...
In crdroid almost everything works but it has some bugs, like the brightness slider not working, the screen coming alive when you run your hand over the front sensor, screen turning to full brightness before going off
You could give crdroid a try if this doesn't work

Did not test that, sorry. I only wanted to see if it would work at all, since on some roms (namely PE+ unofficial) it just freezes and never works. Also, I have switched back to PE+ so I cannot answer your question I'm afraid.
The reason I swithced back is that wheen a video plays on youtube, eveything else renders at 30 fps, touch and scrolling also become delayed. This does not go away until the video is closed. Furthermore, the cpu does not underclock on idle after flashing magisk.

Is it possible to activate click fingerprint to unlock the phone? I accidently unlock the phone in my pocket while resting my finger on the fingerprint sensor.
There is a problem with android auto, i am on the latest build, encrypted and bluetooth is stopping everytime i get a call and i cannot answer or call anyone. Please help, thank you.
edit: bluetooth error log: https://bin.kv2.dev/~62d5bd0e08bb984d9dc6304f0 , i hope it helps
I have updated the pixel OS ROM and I have only one problem is that when I connect my headphones to the phone and when I open the fm app
it closes and in the other version of the ROM it did open but since the update it stopped working and I would like to be able to use the fm app because I like to listen to music
Thanks for your work.

Note: FLASH WITH A12 FW ONLY! DO NOT FLASH WITH A13 FW!Credits to loipuru for the build.Notes1. This ROM is, mainly for testing purposes only and may or may not contain unexpected bugs2. You need to flash Stock Android 12 before flashing this ROM (61.1.X.X.XXX)3. If you came from a SODP based ROM, you need to go back to official Android 12 firmware, and boot until you get to the Xperia Launcher4. 120Hz & HS (renamed to Pause Charging) can be enabled from the QS Panel5. Device may feel a little sluggish due to kernel still being WIP6. SELinux is EnforcingWhat works?• Wi-Fi
• Mobile Data (not on US Model)
• Bluetooth (BT Audio is dead, will be fixed in future builds)
• GPS
• LED (only while charging)
• Flashlight
• Fingerprint Sensor
• Sound
• Vibration
• 120Hz
• Battery Care
• HS Power Control
• Cameras
What's broken?• Camera addons like Panorama for example, can't be installed by default, but you can install them if you flash the module provided below (Libs will be added by default in future builds so that the module won't be needed)
• Regular 120FPS doesn't work in Cinema Pro, only SlowMo 120FPS does
• SDCard may or may not work (e.g it asks you to format it)
• SIM isn't detected on xx62 model (US Variant)
• Bluetooth Audio is dead for now (Also will be fixed in newer builds, for now only Speaker/3.5mm works)
• Proximity sensor makes the device freeze, (e.g putting the phone to your ear in a call) this can be fixed by adding the "Sensors Off" QS Tile and then enabling it during a call

Hello, does this ROM have Bluetooth HID support? Meaning I can use the phone as a keyboard/mouse or BT devices can control the music on the phone?
Thanks.

Not sure about controllers but HID devices should work. (working on implementing controller support and better HID support by default)
Nice Work! Hope this project can continue to be maintained.
Thank you for your great work!
A few feedbacks after 1 week of using your ROM
Most features work very smoothly, can use Photo Pro, Cinema Pro, RAM uses less than Stock ROM
Bugs in my device
LED light only works when charging, not when there are missed notifications or missed calls
Bluetooth Audio does not work (a Bluetooth headset device can be connected to the phone but no sound, like the Sony SP800N)
Recommended for daily use? Yes, if you are not using a bluetooth headset

OK, you got me hooked. Will test it over the weekend.
Thank you for the hard work that you put in!
Nice one Saku! I ran CherishOS on other devices, along with Spark it is the most balanced ROM - enough but not too many features, pretty stable, have been in active development for years. Hopefully no branding kerfuffle is going to happen like with Ricedroid. Will you build dirty-flashable updates for Cherish in the future?

Depends on what's updated in that specific build of course... But yeah most of the time you should be able to dirty flash any of my ROMs.

It's more about whether you are going to keep building it when it gets updated. I'd prefer not having to do clean installs every couple of months to get latest security updates. Also, 4.7 was announced literally hours after you published 4.6.1

No OTA is for official only, if someone wants to do that then yeah you could get OTA but for now every update you reboot into recovery and you sideload the new zip (and install magisk if you want)

As I said above, depends on what's actually being updated if it's a major upgrade like 13 > 14 clean flash is required or if hardware repo is updated (the stuff that lets you enable creator mode and mess with battery care) then you need to clean flash since XperiaParts will get all messed up...

Actual improvements in battery life? Gotta try this to believe it! Battery life sucks on stock, and I've underclocked the GPU to 540mhz and it's still super hot in the hand
Edit: ROM is so smooth, highly recommend
Edit2: only issue I have is keyboard is much closer to the bottom of the screen now which is slightly less comfortable to use than stock
edit3: server class wifi works on this ROM which is a massive plus for my educational facility
4g and 5g reception have both been boosted for me as well in my workplace where i would not have 5g or 4g, only gprs

ROM is so smooth and good battery life. But Android Auto protocol is missing, how can I fix that? Thanks!
If anyone has issue with android auto , uninstall android auto if you have it installed as a user app(android auto wont work unless is a system app) and flash this in recovery NikGapps-Addon-13-AndroidAuto-20230418-signed.zip , this is because the gapps in the rom are "core" ones, these have the bare minimum gapps framework for gms to work.

Thanks! But the addon cannot be flashed with this ROM's recovery. The link to TWRP for 1 III is removed, so, is there any way to flash this?
Does the Sony stock camera app work? And/or GCam?
Plans to keep this ROM updated and probably becoming official?
I really like the customization screenshots, I'm almost hooked
